I was holding tina in my lap in the hospital waiting room surprising Tim was pacing with brain "both of you sit down your getting me nervous and scared" "sorry waffle i cant help it" i watched tim sit beside me taping his foot on the floor "tim stop it would you before i make sure you dont have a sixth kid"

Tim instantly stopped tapping his foot "thank you and Brian sit down before I make sure you don't have a second kid" with that he sat down "mommy will Alex be ok" "I hope so sweetie get some rest you need it"

She gave me a nod and laid her head on my chest and slowly fell asleep on me "can I hold her" I looked at Tim and stared at him weird " why should I let you hold her" "she is my daughter" "you gave her up when you left"

I gave Tina to Brian and went to the water fountain and took a sip then walked back and sat down "Rogers" "that's us let's go" "ya" me and Brian followed the nurse to a room where Alex was laying down in a bed with a air mask

"A-Alex" I walked over to Alex and sat in the chair a took Alex's hand "p-please tell me he is ok" "he is paralyzed from waist down" I could feel my tears roll down my cheeks

"You have to be kidding me my son can't be paralyzed" "I'm sorry but he has no feeling in his legs" "my baby why my baby" I watched the nurse leave and watched Brian lay Tina beside Alex

"Don't worry waffle everything will be ok" "I hope so all five of us" "I hope so" I felt Brian kiss my forehead "waffle I'm going to take a nap" "go and nap you deserve a long rest" I sat in my chair and waited for Alex to wake up from sleeping

"M-mommy" "Alex your ok" I quickly pulled Alex into a hug "mommy why can't i move my legs anymore" "sweetie your paralyzed so you can't feel or move your legs anymore" I watched Alex slowly start crying and look down

"Mommy I won't be able to play soccer with zach anymore I wanted to play soccer on a team" "I know sweetie but you can play other things to" "I will be stuck in a wheelchair tho mommy I won't be able to do or go anywhere anymore"

I could help but feel bad for Alex he was right everything he wanted to do was snatched from him in the blink of a eye and he could never get it back

"Just don't worry about it sweetie everything will be ok just you wait" "it won't get better mommy I want to play in the park with you Tina and daddy mommy but I can't run or walk anymore" "sweetie calm down everything will be ok"

I watched as Alex slowly started crying I couldn't help it but to wipe his tears away as they rolled down his cheeks "Alex everything will be ok just you wait there is a special game of basketball for people who are in wheelchairs" "really" "ya"

Alex's eyes light up with happiness and Curiosity "mommy could I play basketball at the park with you and Tina when daddy is at work" "ya but don't be asking me to pick you up ok I can't lift heavy things for a bit" "awww ok" "I'm pretty sure your real daddy would like to see you and Tina"

Alex's eyes suddenly filled with anger and i could swear I could see killing content in his eyes "I never want to see him mommy he is mean he tried to take me and Tina away from you and daddy" "I know this but he has a right to see you guys he is your real daddy and daddy will be close by so if he try's anything he will beat your real daddy up"

Alex sighed "ok mommy but can we wait to see him I'm sleepy and it's late mommy" "ya get some sleep buddy" I pulled the sheet from under Tina and pulled it over her and Alex then stood up and kissed each of their heads then snuggled up with Brian

"Night mommy" "night Alex get some rest you need it" "you need to sleep to mommy" "Alex Rogers go to sleep" "ok mommy" I sighed and got closer to Brian and slowly fell asleep
