Departure

****Grace's POV****

I woke up the next morning snuggled up in Sam's arms outside. I turned to see that he was still asleep so I went inside and got changed.

I decided to wear a white swimsuit which had cut outs at the waist and accentuated my tan. I then put on my sunglasses and went outside to find all the other girls.

"What happened last night?" Chloe asked as I grabbed my breakfast. "I didn't expect to see you two going outside and then not coming back in."

"I had to apologise for what we said and then we decided to just stay outside." I told her. "It was quite romantic out there. You should try it wth Mike."

"Just to warn you though I heard that Jess was kind of giving him an earful about how you wanted to sleep outside on your own and then he tried to go against what she said."

"Why does she feel the need to do that?"

"I don't know but maybe go and speak to him before she does anything."

"Yeah because you know how she can get in our head." Montana said.

Dom announced later that morning that him, Marcel, Chris and Kem has a boys day out to the beach. I decided that was my chance to go and speak to Sam so I cornered him in the pool.

"Can I speak to you?" I asked.

"Sure." He said and wrapped his arms around me. "What's up?"

"I heard that Jess was talking to you this morning. I just want to know everything she said before I speak to her."

"She was just like I heard you two went outside last night and I was like we did. But then she was like I heard her talking this morning and she actually wanted to stay out with the girls and you just gate crashed it all."

"That makes no sense." I told him. "Last night I wanted to talk to you and then we both wanted to stay outside so we did. The other girls didn't even know that we were going outside and certainly didn't expect me to stay with them."

"Calm down. Don't worry about it. As long as you and I know what's going on then whoa red what she thinks."

"I'm jut fed up of her getting all in my business. She didn't like it when I was with Dom and now she doesn't like it when I'm with you. Doesn't she have anything else to do rather than stirring up gossip in our relationship."

"Speak to her later."

I made it over to the girls later and asked Jess if I could have a word. She didn't seem none the wiser so she put up no resistance and went over to the kitchen.

"I just wanted to hear your side of the story because at the moment I'm hearing people say that you're putting doubts in Sam's ear." I told her.

"I just told him what I heard. In all honesty I heard you talking to Chloe this morning and I'm his friend so I think it was just right to go and tell him."

"But wouldn't it have been better to just ask me and make sure things were right. I can promise you that I never said that and now he's has a stupid thought in his head from you."
