(Flashback)

(Lucille's pov)

Me and the boys sat in the waiting room, waiting for news on Brian about his health. Brian came out after about 5 minutes, I stood up and walked to him. " What did they say baby?" I asked slightly scared. "I have a congenital hole in my heart which has enlarged to dangerous proportions." He said softly as I choke back a sob. Nick spoke up speaking so soft nobody had been able to hear," Do we need to stop the tour?" Brian tilted his head to the side," What did you say Frick?" Brian asked Nick as we all walked to the front desk to pay for the appointment. Nick stared at Brian speaking up again but louder, " Do we need to stop the tour?" Brian messed up Nick's hair smiling saying" With the doctors permission I am allowed to finish the tour till may and then I go in for surgery." I didn't sigh in relief because all the guys need a break off tour and freaking management won't let them. I softly wrapped my arms around Brian while laying my head against his back, he put his hand on top of mine which was lying on his stomach and he softly squeezed them. I smiled I unwrapped my arms from around him and started walking out to the car so fans wouldn't ambush me while trying to get the boys to sign autographs.

(End of flashback)

That was awhile ago and now we're sitting in the waiting room waiting for Brian to get out of surgery. I sighed and leaned my head on Nick's shoulder. "Lucille? You okay?" Kevin and Nick asked at the same time. I nodded my head while mumbling, "Just worried he won't make it.." Nick put his armed around me , pulling me into a one side hug."He will make it Luci he will." Kevin said softly. I sighed and looked over to where Kevin was sitting. "Can I lay my head in your lap?" I mumble staring at him. Kevin patted his leg so I moved to where he was sitting and laid my head on his lap.

(Four to six hours later)

"Brian Thomas Littrell's family?" A doctor said coming towards us. I stood up and walked to him." I am his girlfriend, is he okay?" I started saying as Kevin stood up and put a hand on my shoulder." I am his cousin, is he alright?" Kevin said calmly while staring at the doctor. The doctor smiled and answered," He is doing just fine Mr. Richardson would you guys like to see him?" I looked at Kevin and he nodded his head." Nick and Lucille can go first if that is fine." Kevin announced nodded at the doctor. The doctor nodded back and stuck his arm towards the door in a kind gesture so Nick and I walked towards his room. Nick being Nick put his arm around my shoulders while we are walking to Brian's room to comfort me. "Nick do you want to go in together or by ourselves?" I asked when we got to Brian's room. "Together Luci." Nick mumbled opening the door for me. I walk in and see that Brian is asleep so I sit in the chair next to his bed and grabbed his hand and held it softly. I looked to my left to see that Nick is sitting on the arm rest of the chair so I laid my head against his side. All of a sudden Brian softly grasped my hand in his so I lifted my head up off Nick's side. "Hey B-rok." Nick said smiling. "Hey you guys where are the others?" Brian asked softly. "They wanted Nick and I to come in first." I answered smiling. Brian grinned widely," Well that is nice of them to do." Brian mumbled staring at me. I looked at him curious." Hey Frack can I have a couple minutes alone with Lucille?" He asked looking at Nick now. Nick did his little smile and walked out softly shutting the door behind him. Brian proceeded to stare at me for a couple of minutes. "Bri how are you feeling?" I asked him softly while staring at him smiling. Brian smiled back," I am feeling much better then before." He answered back while patting the bed next to him. I got up off the uncomfortable chair and laid down next to Brian laying my head on his chest. He softly rubbed my back going up and down. "Baby I am okay now." Brian mumbled softly while I closed my eyes and replied with," Mhm."

(Later that week)

"I can't wait to be home!" I mumbled pushing Brian in a wheelchair to the car. Brian laughed, "Me either baby." He then mumbled, I wheeled him to the car where Kevin was waiting with the car door opened. "Okay baby on the count of three I will help you up to get in the car okay?" I say softly while looking at him smiling. He nodded his head as I started counting , I lifted him with help and got him in the backseat." Kevin next time bring a smaller car." I grumbled shutting Brian's door and walking to the passenger side of the car and getting in the backseat with Brian and buckling up. I looked over to see him staring at me,"Bri baby why are you staring at me, do I have something on my face?" I started rubbing my face after I said that. Brian laughed softly,  "Babe you don't have anything on your face, I just love staring at you." He mumbled while he started buckling his seatbelt. I stared at him for a couple of minutes then I looked out the window leaning against it. I felt a pressure on my left hand so I look over to see Brian squeezing my hand and smiling at me. I knew from this day forward that everything was going to be alright.

(2 years later)(Third person pov)

Brian held Lucille hand while he got down on one knee in-front of everyone. Lucille gasped as Brian breathed in and out nervously. "Lucille I have known you since we were little kids and got to know you even more when we got together." He chuckled nervously while the fans awed. " I want to spend the rest of my life with you no matter how angry I make you and how much we argue, I wouldn't trade you for anything in the world and I am glad I have you in my life." Lucille laughed while Nick started laughing. Brian smiled while nodding at Nick to come hold the microphone. Nick held it where Brian could talk while Brian pulled out a ring box and opened it," Will you make me the happiest man alive Lucille and marry me?" Lucille smiled and nodded and got on her knees hugging Brian tightly while he hugged back.
