Chapter 7

Sans' POV

Sans woke up next to her the next morning. He couldn't stop himself from smiling. She was really cute curled up next to him. Sans sighed and frowned. He didn't know what to do anymore. He didn't want her to...leave. There wasn't anything he could do to stop his brother. Then he realized something. She was still his ticket to the surface. Was it really worth it? Her life, for the sun, or her life, so he could see her everyday. With protecting her, came risks. He would be labeled a traitor and no doubt Papyrus would try to kill him before going after (Y/N). Sans sighed again. He had a choice, but it felt like he was being torn two ways. He couldn't just chose one or the other anymore. Honestly neither was a real option. Then she started to wake up. She smiled when she saw that he was there. He smiled again too.

"mornin' kiddo." He said. She yawned.

"Morning Sans." She said sleepily. He blushed. She was adorable. He saw that she was still tired.

"you know, it's still kinda early. what'd ya say we stay here for awhile. just us, nobody else." He said. She blushed. 

"Y-yeah. I...I'd l-like that." She said. Sans grinned and wrapped his arms around her. He pulled her close. Sans no longer cared about whether he should reject her or accept her. Every worry, every doubt, had vanished from his mind. She was too sweet to resist. She smiled and kissed the underside of his chin. He blushed. Sans snapped. He gripped her and pulled her as close as possible. Sans didn't care anymore. Nothing else mattered anymore.

Your POV

*time skip 2 hours*

He watched tv with you. You smiled, glancing over at him. He had one arm wrapped around your waist. You rested your head on his shoulder. He looked over at you. He smiled. You both kept watching. 

About an hour later you asked if you could play a game together. He looked surprised.

"i...i don't really play games." He said unsurely. You rolled your eyes.

"Then why not start now?" You asked. He smiled. 

"alright. what should we play?" He asked.

"(f/g) is my specialty." You said.

He nodded. "alright." You both played it for a while. He caught onto it pretty quick. Soon you both were neck and neck. You pulled through in the end, but he had been pretty close.

"Yes! I win!" You said. He growled angrily.

"damn it! how are you so good at this?" He said. You laughed.

"Practice! I'm 19, so I still have a lot of free time on my hands." You explained. He frowned.

"19? wow, i...thought you were younger than that. you kinda send off a 16 year old vibe." He said. You blushed. 

"I guess I try to live like I'm younger than I am. What's the fun in growing up? Having fun means living like you're able to do anything. At least, that's how it is for me." You said. He looked away.

"well...there's things kids can't do either." He said. You blushed.

"Y-yeah. Heheh." You laughed nervously. He suddenly changed the subject.

"h-hey you uh w-wanna go get some food?" He asked. You nodded. You both got up and left. Sans took you to Grillby's. Afterward he got some ice cream for you. You thanked him and you both kept walking along. Soon you both were in Waterfall. You both sat down at the rivers edge. Suddenly you heard something behind you.
