Another morning had come upon them. The others had hinted that Y/N and Jungkook had feelings for each other, but both denied it. Truthfully, they knew what they felt, but they just weren't sure if they either were ready for such a relationship.

She stood outside of his room, pondering on whether she should knock or not. Reluctantly, she knocked on his door. Seconds later, the door opened and she came face to face with him. He smiled when he saw that it was her.

"Oh, hey Y/N, what's up?" He asked curiously.

"I just wanted to say thank you for always believing that there was still good in me, that you didn't just believe that I was some ruthless criminal," she thanked him with a bow, "No one has ever believed in me like you did. I really appreciated it." He was stunned silent for a moment before he smiled.

"No problem. I believed that when you saved me that was the good in you, so I wanted to fight to prove that it was," he explained with a shrug, "I'm just glad that I was right and thanks for all the times you saved me. You could have just left me, but you didn't, so thanks too." She smiled shyly at that as she slowly pulled him into a hug. He hugged her back gently.

As they pulled away, they smiled at each other, but were soon broken up by the sound of sirens coming from outside. They glanced at each other in confusion before heading downstairs. The others were all down there with panicked expressions.

"What's going on?" He asked nervously.

"We don't know," Namjoon responded with a shrug, "But if my hunch is correct then they might be here for Y/N."

"Somebody must have seen her come inside with me," Jungkook muttered as he sighed, "Dammit, I'm sorry Y/N." Before she could respond the door was broken down and in came the police. The police had guns in their hands and aimed them straight at the members, including her.

"Where is The Red Rose?" The head policeman asked in a firm tone, "We were told that you were giving her shelter here." Nobody said a thing. "You are all very loyal to a wanted criminal. Has she threatened you and your families if you didn't let her stay here?"

"That's not true!" Y/N protested in shock and rage, "I would never do that!" Immediately when she realized that she had said that, she clamped her hands over her mouth. The police eyed her for a moment before they redirected their aim at her and surrounded her. Her eyes widened for a moment before she sighed. Deep within her heart, she knew that her thieving facade was over. She was caught, found out, and now it was her time to pay the price for everything she stole. She let her head hang as she lifted her hands up, declaring that she wasn't going to fight, that she had been defeated.

"Y/N, what are you doing?" Jungkook asked in disbelief, "After everything you told us about your family and that you had no choice but to become a thief, are you really just going go give in? I mean, you had no choice, you weren't given another choice." She sighed in exasperation as she glanced back up at him.

"The thing is, I was given another choice. Sure, the kids at the orphanage bullied me, but I could stuck it out and probably have a better life afterwards than I do today," she answered, "I chose the life of independence, freedom, but thieving. I've been going through this for two years and now it's time I faced my years in jail, but after that I will be done thieving. Wait for me then?" He said nothing, only a look of surprise and slight heartbreak were shown before he shook his head and stood in front of her.

"I won't let you do this," he refused as he grasped her shoulders in his hands.

"Jungkook, this isn't your choice," she responded as she removed his hands and held them in hers, "It's mine. I already put you and your friends in danger just by knowing you." He huffed as he glanced at the others. They seemed to understand, but they didn't seem pleased by it. Nonetheless, they nodded as they tried to hold back to the police officers.
