The Move

Chapter 7

  Marinette stares cluelessly at Adrien.  He was grinning like an idiot, though he could never look like an idiot with his perfect face. What did he have to tell her?
        "What's up?" She asked.
        "Someone told me that I could help with the bakery by giving you a loan. I talked to my father about it and he said that he could make it work!" Adrien says excitedly. He had come up with the idea after he kissed her as Chat. It had taken some convincing but he had finally persuaded his father to do it, but only under one condition. He had to do a photoshoot for a Japanese catalogue that would take weeks to create. It was fine with Adrien because he knew his father would make him do the photoshoot anyways. He would do anything for his princess.
"Really?! Oh my gosh! This is great!" Marinette exclaims. She never figured that the person Chat was referring to was none other than Gabriel Agreste! She then realized that this meant Chat knows Adrien. "Wait, you know Chat?" she quietly asks Adrien.
"Uhh...yeah, we are good friends!" He says quickly.
Marinette seemed kind of skeptical, but she would have plenty of time to ask Chat about it tonight. "Thank you so much Adrien!" She says.
"No Problem! Anything for my pr....perfectly sweet friend, Marinette!" He had almost called Marinette his princess straight to her face and revealed his identity. Luckily he saved himself, even though what he said was totally weird and suspicious. "We should get to class. I don't think either of us can be late one more time."
"Yeah, we should." Marinette says. What did Adrien mean when he said 'perfectly sweet friend'? It almost seemed like he was about to call her something else. She walked to class with Adrien, telling him repeatedly how thankful she is and figuring out more details. She couldn't believe that the Gabriel Agreste was loaning her family $3,000 to save the bakery! She would call her mom after class and tell her the amazing news.
Marinette and Adrien walk into class right before the bell rings.
"Seems like today you actually made it to class on time." Mrs.Bustier says with a hint of annoyance in her voice.
Marinette takes her seat next to Alya.
"What was that all about?" Alya whispers.
"Something great! I will tell you after class."

Sorry I haven't updated in a while! I have been watching the Harry Potter movies and completely obsessing over them.
I know that my chapters are really short, I just find it easier to write that way. But I can write longer chapters too! Just let me know if you would rather have short chapters that are published more often or long chapters that take longer to be published.
