Prologue
I was expecting he'd go the other way but he followed behind me and I couldn’t help but notice people staring at us.
“You know if you didn’t want people spreading rumors, I think it’s best if we don’t walk together. I mean when it's just the two of us.” I told him.
He raised his right eyebrow.
“I don’t care what they think about,” he scoffed. “I am more worried some random girl would suddenly grab you and break your arm.”
“Oh,” was all I managed to say.
Did he say 'worried'? He's worried about me? Nah. Probably not.
