A/n: I mean it's one thing I know we all are ;)
I just left the book store and bought the new book in my favorite series.
Icha Icha paradise....I own all of the books. Who doesn't love Jiraya-sensei's work? I'm so excited in what Jiraya-sensei has in store this time.
I had my face in the book and...
Smack
"Egh--", I bumped into something.
"You've got to watch where you're going, (Y/n)-Chan."
It was Naruto.
"I'm sorry, Naruto-kun! I got the new Icha Icha paradise book and I couldn't wait to read it.", I looked at the floor.
"You are just like Kakashi-sensei."
I blushed at the sound of his name.
"Speaking of which, where is he?", I asked. Almost everyone in the village knew of the "(Y/n) has a crush on Kakashi" scenario...except clueless Naruto.
"I think I saw him with a woman. He might be going on a date. I mean good for him! He's finally...."
My heart dropped. Naruto's words trailed off and I look to the ground.
"Are you okay, (Y/n)-Chan?"
"Yes. Oh I just remembered, I need to finish this book before my next mission. I'll be on my way Naruto-kun."
"See ya, (Y/n)-Chan!"
I waved Naruto goodbye and headed home.
I glanced at the pages of Icha Icha paradise and didn't read a word. I just walked home, in silence.
When I arrived home, I took a seat on the couch and closed the book, placing it beside me. I sighed.
I looked to the clock that was dangling from the wall.
It's only 1 in the afternoon.
Still I didn't want to leave, fearing I'd run into the two lovebirds that so surely ripped me to shreds. My fragile heart felt dead.
I could go for a beer though.
(A/n: In Japan you can be 20 and drink. Plus no one will judge you if you walk around with a beer in hand.)
I stood up and walked to the door, locking it behind me. Tonight's a great night to get wasted. In the hallway I was greeted by Temari.
"Hey. Visiting the village?"
I could of sworn I saw I slight blush on her cheeks. I live next to shikamaru though. I didn't ask questions.
"What are you up to (Y/n)-Chan?"
"I was going out for a drink. Would you like to join?"
"I could go for a drink.", she laughed.
"Great! Booze is much better with company."
