I grabbed a coat and my phone and walked out of my room. Mum and Dad weren't home so I was free to go. "Where are you going?" asked a voice behind me. Adrian. "Out." I replied. "You have to take me to Ryan's house!" he whined.

"Fine. Get your shit together." I said. He ran off to get his stuff and I waited patiently. Adrian returned with a  bag slung over his shoulders and an excited look in his eyes. As we walked to his friend's house, I was thankful it seemed to be in the same direction as the park. "Have Mum and Dad ever met this kid's parents?" I asked, my mind on Phil.

"Yeah." Adrian replied. "We're here." he said, turning onto a driveway. "Adrian.. what are this kid's parents names?" I asked. "Brendon and Sarah." he replied carelessly, knocking on the door. The door opened to reveal Mr. Urie and his son. "Hello Dan, hello Adrian." Mr. Urie said, looking at us. "Shi-Hi Sir!" I said. "Thanks for dropping him off Dan. I'll let your mother know he arrived safely." Mr. Urie said.

"Okay, thanks Sir. Oh, how was Phil?" I asked, wheeling back around. "Phillip? He was in an alright shape when he returned to class. Couldn't speak though." Mr. Urie replied. "Okay. See you tomorrow Sir!" I called. "See you tomorrow Dan." he said and closed the door behind him.

I shrugged and put in my earphones in as I continued walking to the park. The first note of the song made me gasp. That first goddamn G. "When I was, a young boy, my father took me into the city..." I found myself singing along to Gerard's beautiful vocals. Soon I was at the park. Phil wasn't there yet so I sat down on the swing and continued singing. "I'm unashamed. I'm gonna show my scars." I sang loudly. Then I heard footsteps walking towards me. I looked up and there was the Pastel Prince himself. "Nice singing Dan." he muttered. "Thanks." I blushed. "No really. I love MCR." Phil replied. "You? I didn't think someone like you would like stuff like that!" I said. "I like Teenagers best." Phil said.

I laughed. "Teenagers scare, the living shit out of me. They could care less,as long as someone'll bleed." We sang together. "I like that one too." I said, Phil sitting down on the swing beside me. "So... why did you want to meet me here?" Phil asked. "Because... I couldn't believe stuff written online. I don't know if what I read was really what I read." I replied, "You want to hear it from my own mouth." Phil said. I nodded. "If that's okay with you." I said. "It's fine with me... yes, I am gay." Phil said. I didn't think about what I did. I launched myself at him and tackled him to the ground in a hug. "oh!" Phil gasped with surprise. "Sorry. It's just that.. I've got no friends because... I'm gay too." I said, as he helped me up. He was surprisingly strong although he looked so thin.

Phil's P.O.V.
After I helped him up, we brushed ourselves off and I took a deep breath. "Hey Dan?" I asked. "Yeah?" he said, brushing his fringe out of his eyes. "Do you like me?" I asked nervously. "No..." he said. I was crushed. He walked over to me and pulled me close. "I love you." he whispered, crashing his lips onto mine. I was surprised at first but then, I relaxed a little and closed my eyes, kissing him back. We stayed like that, hugging and kissing for about five minutes before I pulled away. "Aw... that was nice!" he whined. "As amazing as it was Dan, I need to breathe and I'm not that fond of the taste of metal." I laughed. Dan grinned and ruffled my hair. We lay down on the grass and started talking

"So... what does this make us?" I asked, laying my head on his stomach. "What do you mean?" he asked. "Well, if you're the toughest guy in school. I'm the pastel kid. If we're seen together, people are gonna start asking questions." I said as he ran his hand through his hair. "Well, if I'm the toughest guy in school according to you, no-one's gonna have the guts to say anything to me. And if people bully you for us being together, let me now and I'll deal with them." Dan said. "So we're boyfriends?" I asked happily. "If you want us to be, then we are." Dan said with a smile.
