Hello I'm y/n a seven year old girl, hoping to someday find a home that is special. Our so called "mother" Mrs. Hanley doesn't care about us girls and boys here at the orphanage. Since the children only range from 5 to 10 year olds I'm one of the oldest children here, which means I have to put up with a lot and I mean a lot of chores. Us children never get a break from the work we are put to, but enough about the orphanage let's talk about how I ended up here in the first place.
I was 2 when my mother got killed by an intruder, and I bet you're wondering isn't a small child supposed to have a mother through the early years? The answer is not necessarily, you see I had a loving father, a home filled with joy and delightfulness. I loved my life that was until my father found another woman. Times turned the hardest when I was 3, my dad turned into an alcoholic and his girlfriend Loni was an alcoholic from the beginning. They started to fight and one time it got really bad, let's say they both went to jail and I was sent to the place where I am today.
