Detention

Prologue (Arriving For The First Day Of School)

6th February 2018 (Ryan POV)

If you were told the word 'school', you would probably think of Homework or being yelled at by a Teacher or maybe even being really bored... Well when I get told the word school, I would probably think of OTHERS getting told that there having detention or receiving EXTRA Homework. Most people call me a nerd because I never get detention or receive extra homework, but In fact I'm not the biggest fan of school and I don't enjoy it... I don't know how I behave so well in school or shall I say, I don't know how other people in my class are so bad at behaving in lessons! Here's one example: 

There was a lesson all about pop art and how it began and this boy in my class called Jye was struggling to NOT go to sleep. You may think that's not much but he's not focusing on such a EASY lesson. Oh yea I forgot to tell you, were in grade 7 last year and learning about Art history isn't much compared to Maths... So what I did was that I tell Jye to concentrate and from being tired and sleepy he got up and yells at me... "You d-"

"SIT BACK DOWN JYE!!!" The Teacher yells her head off... At least I thought she actually did. So Jye in the end wasn't sleepy he was just really bored... If you were talking with Jye about something he didn't like, his face would be like this 😑 and this 😑 and also this 😑... Anyway when Jye sits back down the teacher says, "Jye that's a warning for standing up without asking and not focusing in class..."

Any way this is the first week back to school and I'm looking forward to a couple of things... I'm looking forward to seeing my friends since last year. I'm looking forward to what's changed and figuring out who the new Teachers are... On the last day of school last year, we were told that there are 7 new teachers joining the school staff. Actually I might change my mind about looking forward to that because the Teachers might be really furious when my classmates get into trouble...

Anyway, I am Writing this to you on the Bus to school so I might introduce myself... My name is Ryan and I'm 14 Years old and I have black hair and pale skin. My black hair is in fact quite smooth and straight that if you touched it you would say it feels like a very soft Feather put on top of my head! Any way I'm a little skinny and I'm great at playing Football (Soccer). I don't really have a favourite pair of clothes but I'm wearing my school uniform at the moment...

On the Bus at the moment there is no one that I know but everyone that is on is starting to stand up walk forwards... I can't see where we are but I stand up and look through the window and I see our School! I think these are some of the new students because there about to get off at the same place. But I wouldn't say welcome just yet because they might be walking to the other School which there is one up the Hill (the complete opposite of our School)... Anyway right when I get of the bus the first thing that I see changed is that the school now have an electric-controlled gate! Last year had no gate it was just a walk-thru entrance... Well last year there was a little kid in year 2 and he escaped school with ease and he wasn't found until the next day when he arrived! So it's obvious that the principle has acted to that situation...

"Hey is someone talking to their imaginary friend..." Hey It's my best friend Zack!!! I joyfully say;

"No I'm just reading what I'm writing down, well I mean just saying what I'm writing down..." Zack replies,

"Oh yea,  I do that as well not only when writing but when I'm reading as well..." It is true, last year he was reading a book outta-loud! It was a bit funny but that's ok because as Humans we make mistakes. Anyway I get distracted by something that catches my eye and it's the same people that were on the Bus being invited by the principle... So I tell Zack,

"Hey there are some new people to our school that were in the same Bus as me!" Zack replies back,

"Hey let's go see what's going on..." I think it's a great idea but I'm not totally sure. So I say,

"Ummm... ok but just don't over welcome them ok Zack, you get what I mean. And one more thing just behave." I say that because he's probably the guy that gets in trouble everyday but he's a really nice and caring friend... So we walk up and the first thing that happens that the principle says,

"Hey just the perfect two people to be here, meet your new classmate Ryan and Zack!" Wow so they might be in the same class as us or at least the same grade!!! Then the principle says,

"Ryan and Zack meet Jacob, Josh ANOTHER Ryan and Isaiah..." WOW there's another Ryan in our grade, well at least I think he is... Anyway these guys look like great friends which gets me so excited...

DING DING DING!!! The school bell is going and we are told that grade 8 (My grade) are all in the same class! So we walk to the Classroom being directed by some Teachers... So here we go, our first subject for this year!!!
