Chapter 2 (When Are We Going To Get Proper Work)

Learning Session 2 (Ryan POV)

We just finished the best learning session ever!!! Sitting down in class quietly doing nothing, BEST THING EVER... (Not). Why would the WHOLE class do that when it was just the ONE person? Anyway we were told to go to 'Room S3' which is the complete opposite side of the School 😞😞😞... So we walk outside the room and collect our bags.

We aren't supervised so the Student's know what is good about long walks, they can do whatever they want! But they need to get in class on time so they try to misbehave and be free as well as they can... Me, I just chat with my friends (well in this case, new students). So I ask to Walk with Jacob he says,

"Of course Ryan, I'll tell you something..." I get interested and listen eagerly, "At my old school when we walked to different classrooms the students once had a food fight! It was just my old friend and I walking chatting like we are now..." I reply,

"That's never happened here before but they misbehave as well as they can." Jacob's about to speak but someone yells out,

"LETS ESCAPE SCHOOL!!!!!!!!" I don't think it's a good time to be doing that because I see that the Principle in his office can hear it and he's running out and saying,

"NO!!! Detention for you Dylan!!!" Dylan starts to cry and I do think he deserves it, (I'm trying not to say that) I turn to Jacob on this lovely blue sky day and say,

"See what I mean..." The class goes past the principles office and the principle, we all see him go back to into the office and the chat starts again... We keep walking up a hill and see the classroom we're going to... But then I feel uncomfortable because Matt is out of sight!!! Suddenly, I can fell something sharp going down my back! It hurts!!! I yell in pain and try to get it out... I get it out and it was a Pin with Blood all over it!!! I turn around behind me and see Matt!!!

"Having a great start to the year aren't you Ryan" I just ignore him and turn my back towards him but he says, "Your shirt is red!!!" I go into a bathroom which was luckily right behind us and look in the mirror, I froze...

It's true and the blood is still coming out! I quickly run out and into the classroom I go and ask the Teacher for first aid... She asks,

"Why do you need first aid?" I slowly turn my back and the Teacher yells, "Umm, ok over here she get MULTIPLE band aids and she tells me to lift up my shirt and turn around... She places them on and just in time before the class arrives... The Teacher then asks, "Who did it Ryan and what happened???" I think about it and see that Matt is not walking with the class and he is hiding behind a building... So I say,

"Matt put a pin into the back of my shirt!!!" The Teacher looks shocked! She then asks the class to sit down... The teacher then says,

"Where is Matt?" I reply,

"He's hiding behind that building over there..." The teacher gets so mad that her face is turning into a Tomato! So she tells me to go get him but then I say, "He might do it again so you probably need to get him..." The teacher nods and heads out the classroom and goes behind the building... She is no longer seen! The whole class walks up and stares out the window and they a look confused...

Suddenly we see the principle come out of his office again and he's more angry than he was before... He runs towards where we last saw the Teacher! The class looks really confused, so am I... We eagerly stare like if we're trying to watch a bird when bird watching, nothing happens. My back is still in much pain and I can hardly twist or bend over! I yell really loudly and the WHOLE class stares at me... Zack comes over and asks me,

"What happened? Did Matt have to do anything with this?" I slowly reply,

"Umm, Yes he does... He got a pin and put it inside my shirt and then he made my back bleed really badly and when I tried to get it out it got worse! The pain wasn't that bad as it is now..." He nods and turns towards the window... But then I realise that the WHOLE class was listening! I just look through the window like if everything is normal (it's not)...

It's been about five minutes and nothing has happened. I just try and get back into my seat slowly and carefully so that I don't yell again. I look towards the clock and it's only been 10 minutes and there's still a whole learning session we need to get through. If the teacher doesn't come back, we haven't done any proper work yet! The class slowly starts to sit down but suddenly we all got stunned...

"Aaaaarrrrrrrrr!!!" It sounds like Matt!!! The class sprints outside and we all see Matt on the ground! The teacher and the principle come around the corner and block him from escaping... Matt is then told to stand up but he trips over, he may have broken something. The Principle demands Matt to stand up properly but I just feel that Matt can't... Matt tries again but he falls to the ground. The principle and the teacher look at each other and they bend over.

"We'll take you to sick bay Matt"... The class looks stunned! We all have faces that show how confused we are! Did he fall badly? Is he faking? What will happen to us? The teacher tells us to go inside and we sit and wait again. This is SO BORING! The teacher comes in and says,

"Sorry class, we haven't had a great start to the year have we?" We all agree. The teacher than says, "We won't be having any education or activities to do in this learning session. Because, Matt tripped over some electrical wires that connect us to all the electricity we have in this school... The wires disconnected and my computer is about to lose its battery... All the stuff we would be doing together this learning session was on there, so no work for the next hour..." The class cheers,

"YYYYAAAAAAAYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!" But then she says,

"Sitting in the chair is what you guys will be doing while I go discuss this situation with the other staff..."  The class is now just as bored as we were 20 minutes ago...
