Chapter 3 (Was It Smart To Look Foward To Recess)

Sitting in my chair and doing nothing is basically the only thing I've done so far... The teacher is taking far to long to let us go out for recess. By the way recess is basically morning break. We should go out at about 10:30am. But right now it's 10:43 and we're still in class... I finally stand up for the class and say,

"Umm, it's been 13 minutes since recess started..." The teacher turns and gives a glare at me! I wasn't expecting the teacher to be so angry... It wasn't even the classes fault (apart from Matt). The Teachers is still glaring at me which is making a little freaked out, I just wonder what it's like to be a teacher. The teacher finally says,

"Ok class, you can go out for recess..." But I'm not happy because she's still staring at me... "Ryan, beware that Matt might want revenge so be careful." I nod and go outside the door and head out for recess...
It scares me when it's like your being wanted for something you didn't do... Anyway, it seems lame that I haven't done any proper education this year yet! But some people think that's good and I understand why...

The class spreads out all around the school but I stay with my new friend Jacob. I haven't seen Matt yet but that's both a bad and a good thing. It's good because he's not going to cause any danger at the moment. But it's bad because he could be hiding behind something and pounce on me like a fierce predator... Anyway i collect my food and sit down at a bench. I look at Jacob who's witting next to me and he looks like he's been spooked by the scariest things on Earth! I then ask,

"Are you ok???"

"No, I'm completely scared by that guy called Matt. All the things that you've told me about him, the things I've seen him do have been dangerous and painful. And since I'm your new friend, he might do something like that to me 😳." I feel so sorry for Jacob as this is his first day at our school and he's probably going to be more nervous and scared coming tomorrow. I try to cheer him down by saying,

"Don't worry, he doesn't want to get into more trouble so he wouldn't do a thing like that again too soon..."

"I just wonder what he's thinking about..." Jacobs face is the saddest face I've seen for a long time and it's making me scared of Matt as well. Recess is the an invitation for Matt to do what ever he likes to us. I can't even eat the food I'm holding and the juice box that is on the right of me! I'm so scared that I can feel my heart beat getting louder and louder every second.

But the big school bell rang and I didn't need to worry anymore...
