Alone. I sat down. By myself. I read a book. A spell book of boring things. I didn't really feel anything. Until that moment. A rock hit my bedroom window. There stood a little boy maybe a year older than me. He tossed a note. "Welcome to our town!! Want a Nacho? :)" I smiled and looked up at him. The red hearts on my cheeks glowed. I felt.. love. From that moment on we were best friends, fighting crime around every corner. "Hey star" Marco said surprising me. He munched on a nacho. "Oh nothing.. *sad face*" he widens his eyes and rushes to his room. A rock hits my window and the next thing I know I'm being hit by a piece of paper that read: 'want a nacho? "Oh Marco!" We busted out laughing. Today was the anniversary of the day we first met. I loved him. And today was just the day to tell him. I grabbed his shirt and said:"Marco.. I-i uh.. I lo-" marco smiled and we rushed down stairs. Ugh stupid Jessica at the door. She looked at her nails and said "soooo.. ready Marco? You didn't forget it's my birthday right?" "Oh no of course I didn't!" Jessica gave him a heartfelt smile and stopped pretending to be bossy. I grabbed Marcos hand and turned to see them kissing!! I put on a fake smile and ran away. Out the door and into the open world. Marco didn't even notice. I put both hands over my eyes and ran. Ran as fast as I could. "Oof!" I fell to the ground. I lay on the ground cuddled up and cried. Jeez I was overreacting.. but when it comes to my feelings for Marco I'd die for him. "Star?!" "M-maaarco-o?"
