Chris

I ate my cereal as I waited for Karrueche. She said she wanted to talk to me after she took a shower; she seemed mad as hell. I don’t know what the fuck her problem is and frankly, I don’t even care. It’s 3 o'clock the morning and I'm mad tired, and plus I barely ate. I heard her footsteps stomping down the stairs so I regained myself for the hurricane that was about to blow over.

“Who the FUCK do you think are, embarrassing me like that in the damn club, nigga we supposed to be in a fucking relationship and you drooling all over this Laura chick, like I’m not next to you. Everyone saw how much you was feenin', bitch ass nigga.” she furiously shouted at me. I got up, so confused. I mean, Lauren was bad as hell, but niggas weren’t feenin. “Kae what the hell is you talkin ‘bout, ain’t nobody was feenin over that girl.” I replied, sticking up for myself. She wasn’t convinced, instead folding her arms and replying, “How come when she came in you were like ‘damnnnn’?” Oh shit. I had to think of something quickly to say. “Karrueche baby, I don’t want nothing to do with that girl. Why are you getting so mad, the fuck?” I asked her. I’ve never seen her this mad before, and Karrueche gets mad A LOT! “I’m so tired of your dumb ass always flirting with other girls! I’m your girl, not anyone else my nigga.” she snapped, crossing her arms. I tried to lighten up the mood; I always know how to make my baby smile. I stood and walked over to her. I looked down at her, shawty’s like 5’1, and smiled; she looked away. “Karruecheeee I loooveee youuuu.” I sing-songed to her as I wrapped my arms around her tiny waist. I could tell she was tryna hide her smile. “You know you wanna smile bae.” I said, embracing her and grabbing her booty. She started laughing but killed the vibe by saying, “You’re still not off the hook.” I started munching on her neck and replied, “Am I off the hook now?” She giggled and rolled her eyes. I picked her up and started kissing her glossed lips slowly. I leaned her against the nearest wall and continued. She kissed me back and by that, I could tell she forgot all about tonight; Us getting it on was all that matters.

LAUREN

I was watching Love & Hip Hop, bored as a motherfucker. Trey left about half an hour ago to record some music. I felt so alone in this damn hotel suite, but I’m used to it. Trey’s always gone and we barely spend time alone together. I try to make it work because I love him so much, but I never get to see him. He promised me while we were here in LA that he would devote all his time to me and my stupid ass believed him. Everyone thinks that we’re some type of Bonnie and Clyde perfect couple, but that ain’t the case.

How do I breathe, without you here by my side, how will I see, when your love brought me to the light.

My iPhone 5’s Mario ringtone went off. I searched my pockets for my phone until I felt the diamond encrusted case. I grabbed it and scanned the incoming call. It was from a 310 number. I didn't recall anyone with that number but I answered anyway.

"Hullo?"

"Hey girl, this is Laura, right?"

" Haha close but no cigar. It's Lauren."

" Oh my bad. This is Jhene, from the club last night, remember?"

Jhene .. Jhene .. Oh, Jhene! That was the tiny girl sitting next to Drizzy.

"Oh yeah, I remember you. How'd you get my number?"

She laughed and said, "It's not like I don't know your boyfriend or anything. But look, I was just wondering if you wanted to come with me and a couple of friends to hang today. Trey told me you were feeling a little lonely and I'd love to chill with you if you 'wit it!"

Aww, that was so sweet of Tremaine to make it up to me. He's like the best boyfriend ever; he always finds a way to make me feel better.

" Uhh, that sounds cool, I guess." I tried not to sound too enthusiastic, but I was ecstatic to hang out with them.

"I mean, if you don't wanna go, just say no, no hard feelings."

"It's not that, I just feel kind of like the oddball out."

"Oh, don't worry about that. I used to be in your sitch. But if you stick around, you'll get used to us. Just make sure you hold interesting conversations. So you coming or nah?"

" Thanks Jhene, and yeah, I'll go."

" Great, I'll text you the name, bye!"

When the driver halted the car in front of the spot, I searched inside. He stepped out of the vehicle and quickly opened my door for me. I thanked him with a faint smile and walked into the place like I owned the shit. I saw like 20 people just lounging around the joint. I spotted Jhene and she waved me over. I smiled at shawty and walked over to her.

“Hey Lauren.”

“Hey Jhene, thanks for inviting me, this is litttt.”

“Aye girl, no problem, you might as well grab a drink and chill or some shit ‘cause you’ll only have a few minutes to yourself before niggas start tryna get ya number.”

I giggled when she said that, but as I looked at her face, she was deadass. I walked over to the barista, who was rocking the one-side shaved hairstyle and many piercings look, and requested a Margarita on the rocks. I sat down on one of the stools and tried to occupy myself by examining my recent manicure. When she finished, she handed me my drink, along with a tiny slip of paper, probably the receipt. Instead, it was her phone number. “AJ” glanced at me and smiled flirtatiously. She was a bad bitch and all, but I’m not into girls at all. I playfully shook my head and turned around as quickly as possible. Not being careful, I ran into the chest of a tall, muscular man. As I tried to regain my balance, I clenched onto my drink, praying it wouldn’t spill. I got a closer look at the man and realized it was no other than Chris Brown, the guy who had been staring at me lustily last night at the club. I didn’t mind though, considering I found him sososo attractive. “I’m so sorry shawty.” he said, sincerely. I softened the mood by playing the catastrophe off and saying, “Don’t worry about it, it was my fault anyway.” I sent him a quick grin. Jhene told me this was a way to make friends: holding interesting conversations with people. This was my way to build connections with these people, especially Tremaine’s friends. “If you don’t mind me asking, why were you turning around so fast, are you ok?” he asked me, his body language a little strange. Why is he acting so shy and awkward, he’s Chris fucking Brown for crying out loud? I laughed and replied, “That bartender over there tried to flirt with me and even gave me her number.” He dangerously stared deeply into my eyes and said, “Who could blame her?” It suddenly became tense. If I’m not mistaken, I think he was flirting with me. Come on Lauren, stay strong. His gaze was breathtakingly weakening. “Sooo, um, how long you been in LA?” I said, trying to change the subject. “Ughhh, for a while now, it’s like my second home really, and I love it here.”

“That’s cool.”

“Yeah.”

“Yeah.”

“So yeah, I gotta go soon, but I’d love to get your number.” He handed me his iPhone. I typed “Lauren :)” on the name portion and entered my number. He smiled eagerly and thanked me. He leaned in to hug me, and even though I was caught off guard, I still returned it. Goddd he felt so soft. He finally let go of me after about 20 seconds and waved bye before he left. I felt myself start to blush as I waved back, I hope he didn’t notice that ….
