What would happen if team Natsu, Gajeel, Juvia, and the Strauss siblings has to go on a very dangerous job to take down a dark guild. However they thought it would be too dangerous for the exceeds so they leave them at the guild. So to pass the time...
The three exceeds stared at Lily's broken sword none of them saying anything for what felt like hours until Carla said" We should probably get this necklace to our client and figure Lily's sword out later." Both males agreed to Carla's logic and started flying back to town.
When they got back to the mansion the sun was down and the moon lit up the sky. Lily grabbed the door knocker and let it fall hitting the door letting a resounding clank sound through the house. A maid answered the door and bowed when the exceeds walked past her. They sat on the uncomfortable sofa again and waited for their client. When she did walk in Carla narrowed her eyes at her with a look of confusion written on her face.
Carla's P.O.V
When our client walked in she looked... how do i put this... strange. I don't know why but she just has a strange look in her eye. I watched as she sat down and stared at us " well?" She asked. " well what?" Happy asked tilting his head to the side. " my necklace you stupid feline!" The client screamed. Happy' s ears slid back on his head as he let out a little mew. " what do you think you are doing? We are here to help you, so do not yell at us!" I screamed while scratching Happy' s head. He purred at my touch. " just give me the necklace." The client said in a calm honey like voice. All the sudden without warning Lily grabbed Happy and my paws and flew straight through the window shattering it. I screamed as me and Happy summoned our wings and flew with Lily. " why did you do that Lily? She's our client." Happy said with a mad look on his face. Though Lily looked back at him with a fiercer scarier look then what Happy pulled off. " look at the necklace" was all Lily said.
When we looked at the necklace in Lily's paw we saw it was softly glowing. " wha how?" Happy asked. Lily smiled and said " well it happened when Carla stood up for you Happy. I think it's connected to exceed emotions or us in specific because-." Before we could talk anymore we heard an ear splitting screech " come back here with the necklace!" We looked back at our clients house just to see it dissolve into nothing with what I think is our client standing there with a killer look in her eyes. ( looks like this)

Lily latched the necklace around my neck as he yelled " split up she can't go for us all at once! Meet back up at the tree house, and Carla keep the necklace safe! Let's go team Nova!" " Right!" Me and Happy yelled together. I clutched the necklace in my paw as our old client grew blue leather wings and leaped for us. " Now! " Lily yelled as we dashed in three different ways all taking different routes all leading to the same place. The tree house we built before we left for Tenro that we fixed up when we got back. It's a safe place that we put protective runes around it so only exceeds can see it and get through the barrier. I watched Happy' s and Lily figures get smaller.
I clutched the necklace as it glowed again when I looked at Happy I saw our old client chasing after him. Tears sprang to my eyes as I kept flying, hoping and believing that he would be ok and that I will see him back at our safe, quiet place... the tree house.
