I remember waking to see a lot of dust around me. It was white and light blue...
And it was odd. I was not an infant. I felt like a young adult.
I had looked at my brand new hands, and noticed they were... Shiny. Metallic.
"What is this? What am I? How did I arrive here?"
My new body would take some getting used to, I assured myself. After all, it was rather strange... To suddenly have arms and legs, and a torso holding them together. I had a head, as well.
How does the rest of me look?
I did not quite know, but I knew I would eventually find out.
I suppose that can wait. I should see the rest of this place. It's beautiful.
It took quite a bit of force to get my body to sit up. I took my hands and pushed down on the ground, and it lifted me up. My feet pushed with them, and I found myself standing. I tried to walk, and I wobbled for a few seconds. Luckily, I'm a quick learner, and it came to me almost naturally.
I was walking in no time.
That was not much of a challenge...
The place was barren. There was nothing but white surrounding me.
"Hmm... I can fix this."
I do not know how I did it, but I imagined a scene in my mind, and it appeared.
Some tall oak trees, grasslands, caves and cliffs, swamps and marshes... Everything.
The land finally looked presentable.
"Ah, that is much better."
The only thing missing was... People.
I tried to create other beings--besides animals, they came with the land scenes.
But... I wasn't capable of doing it.
"...I really am all alone in this place."
As I continued wandering, I pondered my options.
I couldn't create people, but I surely must be able to do something.
Hmm...
Then, my mind did something incredible. It showed me every dimension in existence.
Magnificent... Why can I not have such luck?
The answer came in an instant.
Ileyar, you are the ruler of this dimension. You can pull people in at your command. You can leave and explore other dimensions. You can do almost anything you want.
I do not know where the voice came from, but I silently thanked it for the revelation.
I love the idea of exploring. That is what I shall do. I will explore every universe there is! I will befriend others! I will find my true purpose!
And that is what made me embark on my epic journey.
