My life in the new town

Chapter 6: Meeting the in-crowd

I just stood there and I as still shocked about Justin. I never tought that Adam would fight with his bestfriend because of me. How cold that happen? Maybe there is another reason too... I was so deep in my taughts that I haven't even realised that Amanda and Sarah stood next to me.

''Hilary come on we need to talk'' Sarah said.

''Let's go take our meal!'' Amanda told. So we left there the others and left to take our meals.

''So tell us all.'' Amanda told.

''Okey.'' I said and I started to tell them hat happend in the hall,about the fight and about my conversation with Adam.

''Okey, so you didn't knew Justin,right?'' asked Amanda laughing.

''No, I didn't. Why should I have known him?'' I asked her.

''Well maybe because he's one of the most popular boys in the school.'' Amanda told still laughing.

''And how should I have knew that?'' I asked her and I started laughing too.

''It goes without saying.'' Sarah told laughing.

''Maybe you're right,but I still don't know who are the populars here.

''Okey so we'll gonna present you all there populars,so in the future you'll know who they are.'' Amanda told smiling.

''So they are the in-crowd at our school!'' Amanda told while pointing to a group of students. I looked there and I saw that in that group are Adam, Victoria,Zac and others. I tought that they three were populars but I never tought that they could be the most populare ones.

''So you know Adam, right?'' Amanda told.

''Yeah.'' I answered.

''Then he's the most popular boy in this school. He's the school football leader. He's the most good looking boy in this school and that's why every girl wants to date him and be his girlfriend. But he don't cares about this. This are the most important things about him.''

''You know Victoria too,right?'' Sarah told.

''Unfortunatelly.'' I told her.

''So she's very manipulative but still the most popular girl in this school. She's the cheerleader captain and she's very good at it. She transfered to this school 2 years ago and in a few weeks she became the most popular. The bigger girls always hated her but she didn't care about it she just wanted to controll everybody.''

''I know her from kindergarten. We were in the same class too,until eight grade when I transfered here but I'll tell you more about this some other time.'' told Amanda.

''Now we continue with our talk so next to Adam is Zac but you already know him. What you have to know about him is that he's in the football team too, and he used to be the playboy until the end of the 10th grade when a girl broke his heart or I don't know something else happend but the most important thing is that he's not like he used to be, he changed a lot lately.'' told Sarah.

''Okey. Good to know.'' I told.

''So about Justin, he used to be Adam's best friend but something happened and they hadn't talked last year, but at the beginning of this semester he started to hang out with the populars again.''

''Ohh I see, and now they are friends, but still fighted because of me. I wonder why Adam hit him because of me.'' I told them.

''Maybe because he likes you.'' giggled Amanda.

''I don't think so but who knows..maybe.'' I told and started to think about Adam. Could it be possible that he likes me?! I don't know...maybe yes. But why I care about him do I like him?! I only know him for a few days but...

''Hilary?'' Amanda asked.

''Yes?'' 

''What were you thinking about? We said your name like 10 times until you answered.'' giggled Sarah.

''She was thinking about Adam.'' said Amanda and started to laugh.

''So who are the two girls near Victoria?'' I asked them.

''The blond haired one is Caroline and the brown haired is Madison. They are the two girls who always stay with Victoria and do what she want them to do.'' told Amanda.

''They are the most populars. The others who are there with them are not as populars as this six.'' told Sarah.

After that the bell rang and we went to classes. The other 4 classes passed very fast. Then I went home and after I ate my lunch, I went up to my room and I rememberd that lately I haven't checked my e-mails, so I opened my light green laptop and I checked my e-mails. I got one from my best friend Emma from Chicago. I opened it 

'Heey girl!

So how is your new town? I hope you like it. Do you like your new school? Are they any cute boys there? I miss you so much! I hope I hear soon from you! Love you!

I replayed her e-mail. The afternoon passed fast and after I took a shower and went to sleep.
