Chapter 23

Today was Olivers birthday, I woke up at 9:00am and went down stairs to make Olivers favorite chocolate chip strawberry pancakes with whipped cream on top. I walked up stairs with the plate and put it on the side table. Oliver was laying on his back with his arm draped over his chest. I climbed on to him kneeling over him then kissing his neck to his cheek softly. He slowly woke up and looked at me then smiled.

"Happy birthday baby" I smiled and kissed him.

"Thanks baby" he stretched and sat up with me still on his lap.

I picked up the pancakes and gave them to him "yyess my baby knows me so well" he said taking the pancakes.

"I'm going to Jessie's in an hour to set up are you coming?" I said as he ate his pancakes.

"Nah surprise me" he said shoving food in his mouth.

"Surprise you?" I laughed "okay" I shook my head and got up to get dressed. I put on shorts and a white tank top then went in the bathroom to brush my teeth. I got a text.

*im the weirdo? Your the one texting me at 10:00am asking me about hats* -V

*well I'm figuring out what to wear and i needed help* -G

*or you needed an excuse to text me* -V

*dont flatter your self* -G

*snap back* -V

*thanks your a lifesaver* -G

*i do what I have to for my people, what are you doing tonight* -V

I shook my head and out my phone down then brushed my teeth.

*party wanna come?* -G

*No it's Olivers birthday so we're having a party* -V

*and I'm not invited because Oliver actually does not like me at all?* -G

*dont take it to heart Oliver hates every guy I talk to* -V

*alright I gotta go stop texting me all the time jeez* -G

After I was ready I went to Jessie's.

"Hey" she said opening the door after I knocked on it.

"Hey, thanks again for letting us use your house for the party" I said walking in with some stuff for the party.

"No problem" she said taking the food out of my hands.

"Hheeyyy" Nina sang as she walked in behind me with cases and bottles of alcohol.

We walked to the patio outside, Nina began putting some cans in and bottles in the cooler and I put some big bottles of vodka in the outside fridge.

"So Roni, how's it working with Grayson" Nina asked me.

"...I'm gonna say something and you guys cannot judge me" I said pointing to Jess and Nina "I kinda feel like me and Grayson are... closer than me and Oliver" Nina raised her eyebrows and Jessie looked at Nina then looked at me "are you guys silently judging me?"

"Well what do you mean?" Jessie asked me.

"I don't know it's just weird... I feel like I'm cheating on Oliver but I'm not" I shrugged.

"Well I know your not physically cheating but what about emotionally?" Nina asked me.

"I don't like him like that... I don't think I do...no I don't" I said and put my face in my hands. "It's like... I like talking to Grayson, we get each other, and it's worse because he's so hot"
