*Seto's P.O.V*
Stephanie runs her fingers through my now cut hair and she smiles, seeming proud of herself.

"That looks better. You can borrow some of my older brothers's clothes as well since it's morning. They don't need them." She said. Why is she being nice to me? It's morning. I look at the window seeing the sunrise. I get up from the chair and than sit on the bed. Nova than gets up and lays down next to me. Stephanie moves the chair back. "My mother asked me to take care of you, she said that you may want to rest for a few days before you start moving again." Few days? I can't. But I don't say anything because they are just being so nice and that would be so rude. I slip on my boots and I follow Stephanie to get some new clothes. Nova follows close behind me, I wonder where Isaac is. I keep my head low as we go through a door and I hear talking. That sounds like a family. We both walk pass a kitchen, I catch a glimpse of them, they are a family. A mother, a father, and three children eating together. I look away from them and at the floor.

*FlashBack*

My eyes catch something that makes me stop in front of a shop window. I stare at a thin banded silver ring that has a blue gem in it. I stare at it for a few more seconds until my friend comes back and looks at the ring. She smiles.

"I'm sure Jazmine would like that. You two have been dating for a long time, when are you gonna propose to her?" She asks. I look at her.

"Propose." I said quietly. She nods.

"Yeah, it is the thing that people do when they love someone so much that they ask them to marry them." She said. I have been thinking about it, but I don't know if its the right time. "Come on, Seto. You two are adorable together."

"I love her but...I don't think its the right time for that yet." I said. She chuckles.

"You two have been dating for two and a half years now. I think it might be the right time." She said. I look at her, wondering how she knew that and I didn't.

"I mean..." I started. I look at the ring again. "I guess it doesn't hurt to buy one just in case." She smiles.

"Great! Lets buy it!" She said pushing me into the shop.

*End Of Flashback*

I smile a little. That ring. I bought that ring two days before I never saw any of them again. I bite my bottom lip. I always wondered what Jazmine would say if I had proposed. I want to propose, but I'm afraid that she will say no and that's why I never did it. I was pull by to reality when I almost walked into a wall. I stop, looking at family photos. Jazmine had always talked about wanting kids, I always responded with if she had them with me then chances are they will be magic users and out of control magic everywhere. She would say that it would make life more interesting if they were. I want a family too but....I look away from the photos. I don't think I would ever be ready for a commitment like that, don't get me wrong I would love to have a daughter or a son...but I..Nova paws my leg and I look back up meeting Stephanie's concerned eyes.

"You okay, you fuzzed out there on me?" She asks me. I look away from her.

"Y-Yeah." I lied. I'm anything but okay, but I rather not have people worry about me. I just want to get home and see Jazmine and the others. But what are the chances they will still be there? I haven't thought of that. What if I get home and they aren't there? Or they won't want me there? I feel Stephanie's hand on my shoulder and it moves down my arm and I notice that Nova didn't growl at her for it.

"Hey. Turn that frown upside down, okay? My mother's pancakes can make anyone's foul mood improve." She said smiling. I look at her. How old is she? She definitely isn't my age, she seems older than me. I follow her again and into a room. She sets out a few sections of clothes for me and starts telling me what would look cute and stuff which I barely listen to really. When girls start talking about how cute clothes can be, I automatically just fuzz out. I grab a pair of black pants and a light grey shirt. She looks at me.

"Really? Have you been listening to me?" She asks. I look at her and shake my head.

"Nope." I said bluntly. She sighs.

"At least your honest about it. Food is in the kitchen, I'm gonna go get Isaac." She said before she leaves. I pull my shirt over my head and put it on the bed. Nova jumps up on it and lays down, looking at me. I look at her and than at the rune on my chest. It's weird, I don't know what it means at all either. I slip off my boots and than get dressed in the new clothes. They fit just right as well. I grab my old stuff and leave the room. I walk down the hallway and near that kitchen where I see Isaac and Stephanie. Isaac looks at me.

"You look less like sh*t now." He said. I roll my eyes. Stephanie takes the clothes out of my hands.

"You want to keep these? If you don't I will just throw them out." She said. I look at them. The shirt has blood staining the left shoulder and the pants are too small on me.

"Thr-Throw them o-out." I stuttered. She nods and walks away from me. An older woman comes up to me.

"How are you feeling? You've been asleep for quite some time." She said. I stare at her, not knowing what to say. "I'm Amber, the co-owner of the Inn. Stephanie's mother." She walks away from me a little bit and than motions at me to follow. I follow her into the kitchen. "So, what would you like for breakfast? I can make you anything you want." Does everyone get up at the crack of dawn? Nova walks in and sits down next to me. Amber looks at Nova and than at me. "Can't think of anything?" I shake my head. She smiles and turns away from me. "I can make you pancakes, scramble eggs and bacon, an omelette. What are you in the mood in?" I haven't had stuff like that in some time.

"Y-You pi-pick." I said.

"How about some eggs and bacon?" She asks. I nod. She smiles. "Go wait out in the dining room, I'll bring it to you." I turn around and leave, going out into the dining room. I see Isaac, Stephanie and few others here talking. Stephanie looks at me and pushes some guy off a chair.

"Sit here, Seto." She said. I sit down next to her and the guy just leans against the wall.

"Rude." He said. Stephanie sticks out her tongue at him.

"He needs to sit down just incase he falls again." She said. Nova sits down on my feet. I set my arms on the table as they continue their conversation that I don't really pay attention too. It feels familiar, this scenario here. Why is it whenever something seems familiar, it triggers some memory that I have to freaking relive. I miss my friends, I miss how life use to be...but I don't want to remember what once was because it just makes me more depressed than I already am. My thoughts are interrupted by Amber putting my plate in front of me. I look at it.

"T-Th-Thanks." I stuttered. She smiles at me.

"You're welcome." She said. I feel Nova put her head in my lap and she looks up at me, begging. I pet her head. I pick up a piece of bacon and give it to her. She takes it and lowers her head down to eat it as I start to eat my breakfast.
