*Seto's P.O.V*
I woke up, smelling something kind of good. I open my eyes, feeling stiff and achey from my sleeping position. I look over at Isaac, seeing him cooking. I push myself to sit up. He didn't wake me up for my shift.

"Y-Yo-You didn't w-wake me u-up." I stuttered. He looks at me and than at what he is doing.

"No, I was fine. You seem exhausted so I let you sleep." He said. Nova picks her head up and than stands up on all four paws. "Besides, Nova almost bit my arm off when I tried to wake you." I look at Nova, I scratch behind her ear and she turns her head into my hand as I do clearly liking it. She doesn't usually...well I can't really finish that sentence since I only knew her for about two days now and I named her yesterday. I get up, walking around the dying fire and sitting next to him. He hands me a piece of cooked meat.

"Where d-di-did you g-get this?" I asked him.

"I had it." He said. I look at it and than at Nova who is sitting next to me, staring me down. I pull my knife out of my boot and cut it in half. I give her half and I eat my half. I slip my knife back into my boot as Isaac puts out the fire. I get up and we continue walking. I trail behind him and Nova beside me. He seems to know where he is going, I definitely wouldn't have made it far without him.

After two or three hours of walking, I felt a dizzy spell hitting me pretty hard. I tried to act like I was okay, but Isaac saw through me after I almost fell into him. He made me sit down and rest with Nova on the lookout. He touches my forehead.

"You are a little warm. But that wouldn't explain a dizzy spell." He said. I look at him.

"I-I'm f-fi-fine. I j-just need a-a minute." I stuttered. He seems dissatisfied with my answer, but he didn't question me any further. Instead he sat down next to me, leaning against the tree.

"Do you get these a lot?" He asks me. I nod.

"F-Fainting s-sp-spells too." I stuttered.

"You faint a lot and you get dizzy a lot. Something isn't right with that, Seto." He said. I know, I know that. But I just don't want to deal with the problem, I want to ignore it. I just want to go home, but how do I know my home will still be there? Nova comes up to me and sits beside me, seeming concerned herself. I pet her head and give her the best reassuring smile I can manage. I don't want to hold us back, but I don't think I can help it. Black spots start to cover my vision. I hear Isaac talking, but his voice fades into mumbles as my hand drops from Nova's head. I don't feel so good. Than my consciousness just goes after I feel Isaac's hands on my arms and hear his worried voice.

When I wake up again, I'm laying in a bed in a fairly dark room. I close my eyes and turn my head seeing a lantern dimmed on a night stand next to me. I also feel something furry and hot resting on my legs.

"N-Nova?" I asked. I feel her move and she gets up walking next to my chest. She licks my cheek and than lays down between my torso and my arm. I pet her and turn my body so she can lay on her side against me.  I smile and close my eyes, rubbing her belly with my hand. I'm sort of glad Nova decided to stick with me, I don't know why but she just makes me feel better. She's sort of become like my best friend. I hear her growl suddenly and I see the dimmed lantern glow brighter and I see a new person looking at me. Nova moves between me and the person, growling, baring her teeth.

"Geez. I'm not even close to him this time. Can you please heel, Nova? She has already bitten me once because I came too close to you." The person said. I put my arms around Nova.

"Shhh. H-Heel." I stuttered. Nova glances at me and than sits down at my feet, but still seems displeased. The person comes next to me, sitting on a stool. That's when I notice that it is dark outside. They touch my forehead, earning a growl from Nova. I look at Nova and she stops.

"Nova is really protective of you. She bit me and James while I was trying to take care of you." She said. I look at her. She smiles at me. "I'm Stephanie." I stare at her for a few moments. She has long brown curly hair with golden brown eyes, pale skin, and is wearing a dark blue dress that has a dark brown leather belt around the waist and she also has bandages on her right arm.

"I'm s-sorry." I stuttered. I look at Nova and than back at Stephanie. "W-Where am I-I?"

"The Amber Inn. I'm the owner's daughter. But Isaac carried you here while you were unconscious." She said. He did? He didn't have to do that, I probably would have been better off sleeping it off in the woods. I feel her fingers touch my hair. "You want me to give you a haircut? You look like you need one, no offense." I nod.

"Y-Yeah." I said she smiles and than stands up.

"I'll be right back." She said leaving. How late is it? I sit myself up and look around. It's a small room, but it's big enough for a single bed, a table with two chairs, a window and a nightstand to fit in it. I push my blankets off me. Where are my stuff? I look around, spotting my boots on the floor at the foot of my bed and my cloak hanging on a chair and my knife on the table. She comes back with a brush and some scissors. She smiles at me and grabs the other chair.

"Come on. Sit down." She said.
