dear rose,
school started today.
your locker is still there and everything. it's empty now, but before it was full of all your school supplies. a blue binder all the way to the left. then a purple one and a green one and a red one. leaning against those, your school books. first biology then history. then your lab book. the black one. then to kill a mockingbird, pride & prejudice, and of mice and men. on the inside back wall was a polaroid picture of you with your sisters and your mom and your dad. you had your arms around little ellie and grace. next to that is a picture of us. we had flowers in our hair and matching dresses. we were holding hands. we were happy.
and now all it is is emptiness.
locker 271 is just a locker. nothing more than nothing at all.
