I'm gonna mix it up a bit this chapter so be wary of that, as the names imply dan and phil will both be narrating this chapter and the p.o.v. will tend to change a lot. author's note at bottom as usual though. Enjoy!

To say that Phil was mad at Daniel was an understatement. He was feeling many emotions at the moment, which included angry and mad and annoyed. To put it, at least, was to say he was feeling . . . feeling . . . smad, with a hint (just a hint) of annoyance. So to retaliate, he was going to call him Daniel. Even if Daniel was not around. And if it was inside his own head.

When he went inside, he snuggled on the floor, thinking about the incident that happened before. He turned to Chris who was still passed out on the couch, or so he thought. Chris turned to face him, which slightly terrified Phil as he did not expect Chris to be awake.

"I heard the conversation, sorry for basically/technically eavesdropping by the way. It was loud, not going to lie." Chris said, sitting upright and giving a spot to Phil. Phil sat upright and next to Chris. He sighed and closed his eyes. "Chris, 'm tired," Phil said, mumbling, laying his head on Chris' shoulder. Chris sighed, and allowed him some time to rest.

"I know Phil, I know."

Meanwhile, Dan was overcome with guilt. He shouldn't have said that to Phil, but now it was too late. He looked at the sky, and the stars reminded him of how Phil's eyes twinkled, the way they glistened when spoke, the color of the sea on a bright sunny day.

He put his head in his hands, sighing at the mistake he made, if only he could take it back. Dan closed his eyes, and started to slowly drift off.

Phil woke up to see Azul hovering over him, glass of water slightly tilted over him, a look of panic in her eyes.

"Uh . . . Hey Philly!" She smiled awkwardly. She set the glass straight and walked away slowly before Phil could say anything.

Phil didn't bother to question it, and stretched and yawned. And then, he heard a loud yelp.

"Oh fück me! That's cold!"
——•——
Dan did not expect ice cold water to be poured over his head when he woke up, especially not from Yuki. She stood over him, an empty glass in her hand, a triumphant smirk gracing her features.

"Oh fück me! That's cold!"

He also didn't expect the response he got in return.

"I think Philip would appreciate that more." Yuki said, taking the glass of water inside.

Dan looked wide eyed at the door when Phil came over to him.

"Daniel, you might want to change. You're soaking wet."

He glared at him, but got up anyway. Dan headed inside, and saw Chris looking at him like a disappointed parent. He took a sip from his mug of tea and continued to glance at Dan, making him feel uncomfortable.

Finally, he pointed to a room in the hallway. "Clothes are in there for you, so go ahead and change."
——•——
Phil walked inside when he saw Dan wearing a light pink t-shirt, with white ripped jeans and pastel pink converse, looking irritated at Chris. It looked like Chris was stifling a smile.

"Dan, it's not my fault there was only pink clothes in the bag," Chris said, blinking innocently.

Phil looked at the scene and turned to Azul and Yuki who saw him glancing at them and shrugged. He turned back to Chris and Daniel, and sneakily took a picture. He glanced at the picture before he took off to find his pastel crayons, ignoring the way Daniel glanced at him, a distraught look on his face.
——•——
Dan looked towards Phil, who seemed to be looking for something. He saw Azul and Yuki who had knowing smirks on their faces. He chose to avoid it, and instead decided to focus on what seemed to be Azul and Yuki typing something on a phone while sitting on the couch.

"What are you two doing? Didn't you get grounded Azul for the phone incident? And who's phone is that?" He asked.

The girls looked like if they were caught red handed. Yuki slowly put the phone away. Azul turned her head both ways and answered Dan's questions one by one.

"We're looking for ways to bail your friends out, I did get get grounded but my parents really never pay attention to me, and it's obviously Yuki's. Duh." Azul replied monotonously and took Yuki's phone to type something into Google.

Yuki looked pensive for a moment and then turned towards Azul whispering something in her ear. Azul's eyes widened.

"Yuki no! We can't! I'm barely onboard with trying to get this dude's friends out of jail, let alone ask him that!" Azul said in a (not so) hushed whisper.

Yuki crossed her arms. Azul said pouting. Yuki raised an eyebrow, but sighed and turned to Dan.

"Do you know how to drive?"

Dan looked confused, but nodded. "Yeah, I just don't have a license."

"That will do. Dan, we're getting your friends out. Get Phil and Chris."

*awkward cough*
Heyyy guyyyys 😅
So, I had a couple of things going on (a concert, summer reading for my advanced school, going to Texas to visit family only to find out my godmother got deported to Mexico, quinceañera planning, etc) so sorry. It's technically 10pm on Friday where I live, so update as I'm not doing anything (unless being at a party being antisocial af with no wifi counts)

You might see some changes throughout the week on this book and my profile and stuff so yeah.

And one more thing: would a picture of shirtless Joshua Dun make up for not updating?

Byeeeeeeeeee
