when there's so many other places;
I remembered their faces
when I saw them again;
I met them at the courtyard
and smiled at them,
damn, I haven't seen them since I was ten;
they seemed okay
for a bunch of school girls,
but they met with me to play,
like I was a toy or game;
but now they are only
remembered faces,
and



Dan told himself he'd finish the poem when his eyes were dry again. He sighed as a tear dropped onto his cell phone. He pushed the device off the edge of his desk and onto the carpeted floor.
