Samantha's POV
Rachel came into the room and whispered 'Mate' while staring at my brother who looked kind of confused. He had a loving look on his face that was soon replaced with a pain filled one and the sound of bone cracking could be heard.
"Rachel calm down your mate will be fine." I said.
"Xzavier help me get him outside."
Whilst Xzavier got him outside quickly, I followed. Shocked I did not think that he would shift now, or ever. Rachel was freaking out, as Sandra was trying to calm her.
"Jason, it is going to be okay. Just relax and let him take control don't fight it."
It was taking too long he should have shifted already. I quickly broke into his mind and searched for his animal. I found a tiger in the corner roaring. I went over towards the tiger. "What is your name?"
"I am Luther, sister."
"Why haven't you finished shifting yet?"
"Since I was trapped for so long only finding my mate awakened me, it will take a bit longer. We will be fine."
I withdrew from his mind just in time to see his form begin to take shape. A tiger was now stood in front of me. In a dominant stance. Rose did not like that and growled loudly in a threatening manner. Luther was in control, he showed his neck to me as I was the dominant shifter.
"Luther go for a run quickly, Rachel go with him it will help calm you both down."
I started walking into the house, my mate following behind me. I sat on the couch and motioned for him to sit down next to me. As I began to explain the rest of the situation, I cuddled into my mates side as Rose purred contently. A yawn escaped me of its own accord.
"Sleep my mate, you must be exhausted. Do not fret I will be here when you awake."
And with that I drifted into one of the best sleeps of my life.

A/N
I am so so sorry that I have not updated. I have been really busy and writers blocked. Between being a freshman and other stuff I haven't had time either. I feel bad that I haven't updated and I will try to again soon, but I am going to leave this marked as on hold invade I don't update soon. Also I know it is short but it's the most I could do.
