Confrontation

~Blake's P.O.V.~

"Blake..?" Yang's voice was full of disbelief as she looked at me. I don't blame her. I left without saying goodbye or leaving a reason.

Sun put his hand on my shoulder when they dropped, assuring me that it was a good decision to come to Mistral and find them. He nodded and motioned for me to speak, my black cat ears drooping.

"Hey guys." I raised a hand to wave as I smiled faintly, quickly getting almost tackled by Ruby.

"Blake! You came back!" She wrapped her arms around my neck.

It took me a moment to hug her back, my nerves going haywire. "Y-yeah. I am." Tears started to well up in my eyes as she hugged me tighter, everyone looking at me.

Once she released me, she smiled and wiped the tears that managed to fall down my face. "Don't cry, Blake. We're all together again. Well, except for.." She trailed off, looking at the group of friends. Everyone was accounted for, except for one. The familiar red head that everyone loved. Its been months since that day, the events still playing back in my head. Yet, as I looked at Yang once more, I could see the hurt in her eyes. I could see her urge to scream at me for leaving without a word after she essentially saved my life before I saved hers.

"Well don't just stand there, lets get inside. Its getting late and I can feel rain starting to fall." Weiss spoke, cutting me from the flashbacks that rang through my thoughts.

"Uh, yeah. I don't want to keep you guys out in the rain. We can catch up in the morning." I managed a small smile before following the group into their hotel, getting a room of my own.

Sun whined when I wouldn't let him share a room with me, but soon gave up after I insisted that I needed to be alone. Well, for the most part. I was barely two feet into my room when a familiar boot stopped my door from closing. It was the familiar face I had missed the most while I was at home, Yang.

She looked at me in silence for a moment, her violet eyes burning into my gold ones. "We need to talk."

Blake seemed to flinch when I told her we needed to talk, her black cat ears drooping against her raven hair. She looked the same as when I last saw her. Less bloody and bruised, but the same. The same gold eyes. The same long, black hair. As well as the same slender body that could lure in anybody.

Without missing a beat, I shut her door behind me and looked at her, crossing my arms. "Why did you leave? Why didn't you say anything?"

Blake sat on the bed and looked at me. "Yang, I was scared. I didn't want to hurt you anymore. I didn't want to have my friends get hurt because of me."

I could feel my eyebrow twitch. It wasn't usual that I got this upset with her, but her leaving hurt a lot more than I thought. "You didn't want to hurt me? Blake, it hurt like hell when I found out you left and didn't say goodbye. Its hurt ever since. I couldn't stop thinking about it for weeks!"

The faunus girl flinched slightly when I raised my voice. "Yang, I'm sorry! I didn't know what else to do! I was afraid! I didn't want you getting hurt again because of me.." Her voice trailed off, tears visibly welling up in her eyes.

Despite the rage burning in my chest, I could feel my arms drop and the scowl on my face slowly turn into an apologetic one. "Blake, I-"

"Just leave me alone right now, Yang. Please.." Blake's words cut me short before I could apologize for my anger.

"If that's what you want." I sighed and turned, opening the door. I paused before I stepped from the room. "Goodnight, Blake."

"Goodnight..Yang." Her soft voice seemed to echo in my head as I shut the door and went to the room I shared with Ruby. The small girl glaring at me as I stepped into the room.

"Did you yell at her?"

"What? No." I defended myself.

"Yang, I could hear you from down the hall." SHIT.

"Yeah, I got a little heated. We'll talk in the morning, okay? Get some sleep." I smiled slightly and patted Ruby's shoulder before climbing into bed, Blake's face never leaving my mind. What happened practically prevented me from falling asleep.
