14 - Feelings...

Matt sat on his bed, watching you sprint around the room/attic, collecting your items, soon to be heading out of the house to apply for a small job. His eyes would dart wherever you would walk or go. You stood at the door, hesitant to exit the room without giving Matt a hug, so you quickly rush over to him and wrap your arms around his waist, receiving a smile out of the tall ginger, as he hugged you back. "I wish you the best of luck (y/n)!" He cheered, letting go. "Thanks Matt." You huff, turning around and heading towards the front door. Tom and Edd were sitting on the couch in the living room, as they both let out a few monotone 'seeya's, you rolled your eyes, opening the exit to the house. Matt grabbed your hand before you could leave, greeting you with a worried expression laid upon his face. "You will come back home before dinner wont you?" He pleaded. You chuckle, "Of course I will ya big goof." You scruff up his hair. "Now I'm gonna be late if I don't leave now." You inform him. "Especially since I have to walk...Edd and Tom don't trust me with the car yet..." You mumbled the last bit, hoping only Matt could hear. You heard a few grunts from the living room but shrugged it off, hesitant to get distracted. "Seeya." You say, giving Matt a last swift hug before slamming the door in his face.

Matt sighed, heading into the living room, plopping down in between Tom and Edd. But only after a few minutes of staring blankly at the picture changing screen, Matt received odd looks from the two. "Matt." Edd alerted him. "Hm?" Matt replied, awaiting for Edd's response patiently. "Whats with you and (y/n) being so...y'know, clingy." Edd shrugged. "What do you mean?" Matt raised an eyebrow. "Yeeaahhh, you two are always huggin' and calling each other little nick names." Tom admitted. "Y'know like a couple..." He finished. "What! She is merely a friend!" Matt huffed. "Sure." Edd narrowed his eyes, resuming his focus on the TV. "Matt...when was the last time you kissed yourself in the mirror?" Tom asked as blunt as ever. "Uhm, about..." He begun to count digits on his fingers. "3-4 hours..." He responded. Edd and Tom sat there, completely gobsmacked. "Wow...that's a new record..." Edd finally spoke. "WE HAVE TO WRITE THIS DOWN! THIS IS A NEW RECORD!" Edd yelled, springing up. "Wow, Matt, are you sure everything's alright?" Tom asked, placing a hand on Matt's shoulder. "Yeah everything's fine.." Matt said, looking down, something was definitely up and any right minded person could tell.

After Edd and Tom calmed down they continued to stare blankly at the Television. Until, that it, Matt sighed. "Well...there is something wrong..." He admitted, scratching the back of his neck. Edd and Tom traded worried expressions, soon revising onto Matt. "Go on." Tom signaled for him to continue as he shuffled closer, same as Edd.

"Well..." Matt started.

"There's this weird thing that happens every time I see (y/n), like she makes me really happy...whenever I go up to her there's this little voice inside my head that says, 'she's almost as pretty as you' and then I just find myself staring into her beautiful (e/c) orbs." He said, making hand gestures with every sentence.

"Continue." Edd intriguingly hummed, shuffling even closer.

"A few days after I met (y/n) I realised I didn't act like myself. My chest would start pounding and I'd feel like my tummy was gonna explode...like what happens when I see myself. But instead she's my mirror." Matt exclaimed, seeing Tom and Edd sat beside him, looking like kids listening to a bedtime story.

"I-I feel my face heat up when she smiles and I j-just wanna hug her a-a lot, like, all the time and I never want her to leave me..." Matt finished, tearing up.

"Matt, its ok." Edd comforted him. "What is this feeling?" Matt asked, his big eyes darting to Edd and Tom, asking a handful of questions and yearning an answer. "Matt..." Tom started. "Yeah?" Matt replied.

"You're in love."

Both of them will be fun to make but depending on how many votes each one gets will be the one to decipher. So go ahead and don't be afraid to comment. Suggestions for chapters on the fanfictions wont be necessary since i have a pretty vivid imagination. Its pretty straight forward so yeah...
