At that moment , the door bell was heard but my mother was upstairs, so I took my ass from the chair and walked literally half sleeping to open the door . My heart jumped out of my chest as my gaze met Taylor's who was standing in the door .
-'Hello, sweet Jules .' ...

I couldn't believe my ears . Was it Taylor Scott calling me sweet Jules ? Wait ... I should be misbelieving my eyes in the first place . Was it Taylor Scott standing just in front of me ?

-' Hi , Taylor .' I swallowed .' It's been ... forever .' I tried to say casually , feeling my dry throat . Where the hell did all my saliva go ?

-'Six years .' So he does know .'And finally , here I am .' He smiled a simple smile and familiar dimples showed up .

-'Let's get in .' I invited him when I finally realized we were standing in the door for a while . He accepted without any hesitation and followed me to the living room .

-'Feels so good to see you.'

I took off my eyes from the sofa he was sitting in . It's funny how it used to fit the both of us while watching cartoons together . I couldn't find what to say , I felt emotionally paralyzed , all of my thoughts were in a metal traffic jam .

-'I didn't come here to watch you staring at the floor , you know.' He joked , I didn't laugh .

What is he coming here for ?

-'It's just surprising .' I rubbed my sweaty hands against my pants .

Holy crap ! I'm wearing pajamas ! Pajamas Jules !

-'You do look surprised . It seems like you're going to pass out anytime soon .' Taylor let a laugh. If he was half as nervous as I was , he was hiding it well .

-'I'm fine .' To say I was insulted was an understatement .' I couldn't guess it could be your family getting the house , again . I thought we would have new neighbors .'

-'Actually , we didn't even put it on sale .'

-'Mmm.' I moved my head in approval . That was one of the most uncomfortable discussions I've ever had .

-'I'm curious to know what new happened these years .'

-'Not big things , actually ...'

-'Have you got a boyfriend ?' He cut me off .

-'What ?'

-'Why so surprised ?' He laughed .'Trust me , I was not spying , I was cleaning the window and I saw you with him last night .' I took a minute trying to think straight . ' In a car .'

When was my last time I went out with my boyfriend ?

Hold on a minute , I do not have a boyfriend .

-'Nathan .' I almost yelled as I understood what he was talking about .

-'So he's name is Nathan .'

-'No . I mean yes , he's name is Nathan , but Nathan is ...' Remember I had no skills what so ever when it came to explaining things ? So yeah , you get the situation . ' We are ...' Nathan and I were nothing .' Actually , my mother ...'
