I slipped on my jean jacket from American Eagle over my floral dress that went down to my knees. I put on a pair of high heals and grabbed my purse. "See you later mom," I said as I walked out the door. I told her about how Brent and I were dating and she was so excited. Tonight we were going to see a special showing of Divergent. Brent was waiting in his car and I hopped in. "Hey baby," he said and leaned in and gave me a kiss on the cheek. "Hey," I said. He turned on the engine and we jammed out to the radio for the car ride.
We walked into the theater and bought some popcorn and two Cokes. We then walked over to the room where our movie was playing and sat down. We watched the movie and on occasion Brent's hand would brush against mine when we grabbed popcorn. It reminded me of when we met and saw a movie. I loved Brent so much.
Brent's P.O.V.
Oh how I loved it when our hands brushed against each other's when we grabbed popcorn at the same time. It reminded me of when we saw the LEGO Movie together. I looked over at Sydney and saw her playing with her necklaces I got her. As long as she wore them I knew she loved me.
I excused myself in the middle of the movie because I really had to pee. I went and used the bathroom and walked out to find myself being pushed against the wall by somebody. ''Hey Brent. What are you doing here?" Sam asked. I knew Sydney didn't like her because she was flirting with me at school a lot. I did like to see how cute Sydney got when she was jealous though. "On a date with Sydney, now can you move?" I said trying to push her away. She pushed me back. For a girl she was strong. "Not without a kiss first,'' she said. I pushed her to the ground and walked away. I had no interest in Sam. Sydney was the girl I loved.
"What did I miss?" I asked Sydney when I sat down. ''Nothing much," she said. I smiled at her and she smiled back. Nothing was going to stop me from loving her.
Sydney P.O.V.
We walked out of the theater when the movie was done and across the street to a little restaurant called Friendly's. I'd never been to one but Brent says they are everywhere. We walked in and it was set up so cute. It had a big mural of a carnival in the back and a claw machine. "A claw machine!" I exclaimed. "I love those!" Brent said and we walked over. He put in a quarter and began to play. He grabbed a pink teddy bear and it went down the shoot. "Good job!" I said and hugged Brent. ''For you," he said as he handed me the bear. I smiled at him and we walked to the hostess podium. She grabbed two menus and sat us at a booth. We ordered what we got from Jenny's a few days ago and ate. Brent paid and we left.
I got home at eleven thirty and decided to go strait to bed since I have school tomorrow. I put my hand in the pocket of my jean jacket to find a note. It was from Brent and he said he loved me. At the bottom was a picture of us of the first time we met. I took it off and put it in an empty picture frame I had in my drawer and put it on my desk. As I laid in bed I looked at the picture. I looked closer and found Megan frowning in the background. I laughed and dozed off. I was so glad Brent was mine now.
