Okay just give me a minute and I'll be down.

Riley's POV

I walked outside and I saw Lucas leaning on his truck. I stood in front of him and he was smiling at me.

"So what are we doing?" I asked smiling. "We are going somewhere but it is going to be a surprise." He said standing straight. I pout. He stares at me, then he opens the passenger door.

"Were taking a little ride first." He said with a cute smile. "This isn't the part where you are going to kill me right?" I asked scared. "No. Why would I kill you?" He asked. "I don't know for fun." I said as he laughed. I got into the passenger seat, he closed the door. He walked over to the driver side got in and started driving. We were driving down the highway then we went on a dirt road we rode about fifteen to twenty minutes down the road and came up to a gate that said "Friar Ranch". "Lucas what are we doing here?" I ask him in curiosity. " I told you it's a surprise." He said with a smile.

We pulled up to the house and he get out and comes to my side open the door for me. Once I step out of the truck he puts his hand out and I gladly take it. He leads me to the barn and the first thing I saw was all these horses but there are two that are at the other end of the barn with reins and saddles on them. "Surprise, I hope you like riding." He said. "Nope." I said. "Oh then we ca-" "I love riding." I said cutting him off. He smiled. "Just follow me or do you want to hold hands the whole ride." He said as he winks. I blush and say, "I like the second one better." And with that he stuck his hand out, I take his hand and we started riding together.

After about an half hour later and a lot of beautiful views along the way to our destination. We were at the top of the hill there was a blanket and a picnic basket sitting on the ground and we got off the horses. We met once again but this time I take his hand in mine, then we start walking over to the blanket.

Next thing I know I'm being lifted off the ground and being put in Lucas's lap. I look at him and he puts his forehead on mine and we start leaning in. I was looking at his eyes and then he took one quick look at my lips then back at my eyes. He smashed his lips on mine and the kiss was slow and passionate. He had one hand on the back of my neck and the other on arm.

I soon feel us falling back, he had layed me on the ground and he was hovering over my small frame. The kiss was still slow and passionate, I dream the kiss and we are both breathing hard. He was smiling at me and I was smiling at him. I kiss his check and he did the same to me before we both sit up. Then he pecks my lips twice. "Your so beautiful." He said with a twinkle in his beautiful green eyes. "Thank you." I said just above a whisper. "Your welcome." He said as he pulls me into a side hug and kisses my temple.

Lucas and I talked for hours get to  know each other even more the sun was starting to set and Lucas had his arm around me and my head was laying on his shoulder. We had to leave before we could watch the whole sun set because there was a thunderstorm coming in. So we were still holding hands, but still hurrying before the storm caught up with us.

Just in time we made it back to the barn and we took the reins and saddles off of them and brushed them down. Once we were done it was pouring. We dashed across the yard but Lucas stopped me before we could make it to the steps we were facing each other and he started caressing my cheek. He smashed his lips on mine and we started kissing in the pouring rain we were there for a while but I didn't care cause it felt like we only people in the world. He breaks the kiss and said "jump." I did as he said and he walked up the steps, opened the door and he pushed me up against the wall. He started move down from my lips to my neck. "Maybe we should stop." I said as he was still holding me against the wall.

He put me down then grad's my hand and we started walking to the couch he got up and made hot chocolate for the both of you. He put on Netflix and we just watched some movies and had a good. He had his arm around me and I had my head on his shoulder. I started thinking about how much Lucas makes me nervous and he brings out a person in me that I haven't shown in a long time. My eyes started to get heavy and I soon fall asleep.

Lucas's POV

Today I had the most perfect day with Riley and we never felt this way about anyone and I'm so happy that I get to be with her. When I'm around her she makes me nervous. She brings out a completely different person out of me. Oh my gosh 'I'm in love with Riley.'  I look over at Riley and see that she's asleep and I put her head on my chest and she snuggles up to me. I stroke her hair only to feel myself soon start to fall asleep, with Riley in my arms I couldn't be any happier.

Sorry I haven't been updating I've been really busy with work and sports that I can't find time to write so I sorry for any slow updates.
