Nozomi finally stopped reading around in his books, and got himself, some button mushrooms, wheat germ, a glass of pomegranate juice, and a glass of green tea. (These things boost your immune system.) It may not sound very appetizing, and it wasn't , but it was the diet he had forced himself to get on right after he had seen a NEWS report about the up-coming virus.
Books and journals covered the floors, "No, this isn't good...The books say to always have a clear pathway to your door." He finished eating and put up the books and journals into the bookshelf, "Better." He mumbled. Nozomi liked to watch the 'stupid'-as he called them- people walk around outside, even though the NEWS reporter had said to stay indoors. He pulled up a chair and sat in front of his apartment window, snacking on wheat germ, and elder berries. (Yet again more foods that help your immune system.)
Time slipped away and everyone went inside their homes, and night time came, the pitch black sky was sprinkled with stars. Nozomi knew that getting enough sleep was critical, therefore he got up and went to sleep. The next day he had school, which he would still be attending.
The town thought that is would be a great idea that if one person in the town got the virus that everything would shut down and if the next over had over 2 people get the virus they would shut down then too. He woke up, took a boiling hot shower, got dressed then ate some acai berries, and chicken soup. He never drank the tap water, because it might have germs in it, and it would be a major risk.
After eating, Nozomi walked to school, sat in his chair and read. He looked around for the girl who had to go to the nurse's office yesterday, she was no where to be seen. Along with a few of the kids who had been coughing. Nozomi was a little scared and he immediately started taking pills, then he noticed that the teacher was acting strange. He shook it off.
About an hour into class, the principle walked in and whispered something in the teacher's ear, her eyes widened.
"Class,...you are dismissed for today, go home and stay home."
