It was dark, they were tired. If it wasn't for the fact that he'd just been practically kidnapped and our ago, he would've suggested they go to one of the nearby inns. He would've done so if he wasn't terrified of the scenario of him speaking and Keith turning fast to face him, knife in hand and ready. Instead, he followed behind at a safe distance. "Does he even know where he's headed?" Lance thought to himself.

Keith had no idea where he was going, he was just as lost as he was an hour ago. To make matters worse, he now had an unwanted companion at his side. He could have asked Lance where to go, but that'd be awkward and he feared the thought of Lance leading him to the local authorities. So he walked forward and turned to whichever road or alleyway looked safest.

Tired of walking, Lance finally built up the courage to speak up. "Y-Y'know there's a couple of inns nearby." "Not necessary," Keith and replied. "Are you sure- I mean it's just that..you seem like you're lost and-" Keith quickly turned to Lance, which caused him to jump back a little. "Fine. Lead the way, but if I even start to think you're leading me to the police, you'll be being led to heaven by my blade." Lance slowly nodded and consciously walked in front of him.

He could feel Keith's glares burning from behind him. For a moment he thought of leading them towards someone who could help him be free of his kidnapper. Then the reoccurring thought of getting stabbed from behind pummeled the idea. So he walked them towards a nicely sized mound.

Keith hurriedly grabbed Lance's hand in a attempt to halt him. "Wha- Oh," he let out a sigh and signaled Keith to look inside as proof that it was safe. Keith peered in to see a man with an orange colored mustache nervously looking down at a stack of papers.

He turned to face Lance. "See? safe." Lance walked in, now leading Keith again.

"Coran!" Lance exclaimed making Leith jump a little. The man, Coran, quickly turned towards the two and smiled, "Oh Lance! There you are! I was afraid you wouldn't be back by now. I see you've brought a friend with you." Coran let the word "friend" roll off of his tongue, implying something more. Lance lifted an eyebrow at this suggestion. "It's not like that." "Are you sure," he said pointing to the twos hands that were clutched together, again.

They both pulled away and looked the opposite direction of each other. Coran laughed and reach towards a small container with a set of keys. "Upstairs. Try not to stay up too late." Keith and Lance both walked up the worn stairs, creaking with each step they took. Keith nervously followed behind Lance to the room, the slight blush on his face still apparent.

It was slightly bigger than Keith had imagined it to be. Two beds were sat side-by-side of each other and a small table with four chairs were on placed on the other side of the room. Lance sat on top of one of the beds. Keith stood still near the door.

"Don't worry, it's safe," said Lance sarcastically. Keith wasn't phased by this, he was more concerned about whether or not to sleep with or without his cloak on. I mean it's not like Lance hadn't already found out but, he was considerate enough not to wanna make him feel uncomfortable. Plus, he wasn't used to being this open with his appearance it was- new.

Keith walked over to the other bed and slowly pulled off the hood of his cloak, to which, Lance's eyes widened and eyebrows furrowed gesturing a confused expression. "Wait, what? I thought you were Galra? Only your ears are- they're different?" Keith looked to Lance, apart of him urging to tell Lance his situation.

Wait- no, he couldn't risk him leaking any of it. "It's complicated," he said instead. "How complicated? Y'know if you're gonna kidnap me, the least you could do is explain why." "I don't owe any reasons to you!"

"Have you forgotten that it was your persistence that got you into this position." "Well then geez, I'm sorry for trying to not be a total asshole and leave you running around with no place to go." "I would've been fine on my own," Keith snapped back. Lance opened his mouth once again to protest but was immediately cut off by Keith.
