After putting in the fake tapers in my ears, Kellin walks in smiling. "Hey Reb, you ready?" Kellin asks, looking at me.
"Mhm." I finish up with making the arrows on my inner eye corner and put on dark red lipstick. I chose a black smokey eye with white glittery eyeshadow. I used my doll like false lashes, highlight, eyeliner pencil on my waterline, and blush.
Kellin nods at me smiling. "You look beautiful with or without makeup." I never really went to foundation and contouring, since my skin is already smooth and clean (so jealous). "I prefer you without it." He compliments, I blush.
"Th-thank you Kellin." Kellin kisses my cheek softly before grabbing my hand and guiding me outside.
Somehow this boy gives me goosebumps, I can't stay unhappy around him or else it makes me feel even worse. "Kellin," I look at his concentrated face, since he has to pay attention to the road.
  "Hm?"
"Why did you pick me?" Kellin's eyebrows raise, he chuckles softly.
"After all the girls I've dated, they've never asked me that question. They took all of me for granted, but you," he looks at me for a split second then back at the road again. "You're..." he pauses. "You're something special, and I like that. You're unique in your own ways." He locks his hand with mine. "Name a place you've always wanted to visit, it can be anywhere."
"Anywhere?" I frown.
"Anywhere." I look up and smile.
Anywhere." I say. His brows furrow in confusion. "I've never been anywhere else, I've looked down at every city, country, state in heaven but I've never been down in it. I just wanna see basically everything." Kellin nods.
"Maybe one day I'll make that happen." I look out the window.
"What is it like down here? I've only learned very little since I've been down here." Kellin grew silent for a moment.
"Earth has it's good times, and it's bad times. But it's our home and home isn't the prettiest place in this universe but it's something."
"Wow," I bite my lip. "Angels never found earth as important to them, god could care less about it. Lucifer and I cared a lot about earth, but we had different point of views of helping. Lucifer wanted to bring in the bad to balance out the world, while I just didn't want it to die out."
"Why would you care?" Kellin asks.
"Because if the word exploded I'd never be able to watch over you again, I guided you through life, sometimes you'd disobey me but I never gave up on you." I rubbed my thumb against his hand, I stared at his concentrated face. Taking in every detail. "You were everything to me Kellin, more than you were to Lucifer. Lucifer could give two fucks about what you did, I cared because I knew you were gonna do something amazing in life." Kellin pulls over into a lonely parking lot.
"I need to hold you for a moment, climb in the back with me." He climbs into the back and I do as well. Kellin pulls me onto his lap and holds me while sobbing into my shoulder.
"Kellin, why are you crying?" I cup his chin and wipe away his tears.
"Lucifer threatened me to take you away if I ever made contact with you, but I couldn't stand the distance." I chuckle.
"Lucifer can't do anything like that, cause if he just sends me down with him I always find a way out. I've been to hell, it's not like fire everywhere and lava as well. It's just calm and dark, so I have an easier time escaping." Kellin nods but doesn't let me go.
After five minutes I feel more tears trickle down on to my shoulder. "Kellin why are you crying?" I ask.
He pushes me away slowly and pins me down. He slides off my pants and shows me all the scars I have lined up. "I did this to you." Kellin sniffles.
"Kellin look at me." I cup his cheeks. "That's in the past, you never did this on purpose, you didn't know any better." I kiss his cheek. "No crying, not here, not now, not ever." He nods and pecks the top of my head.
"Should we start going?" I nod.
"I'll play some music." I climb in the passenger seat then Kellin gets into the drivers side.
