Hmmm...I would save no one.
Like I would really want to save Kenrick but then they wouldn't have his cache and Sophie couldn't have used it as a bargaining ship.
I might've saved Jolie but her death changed a lot of things and it would probably affect the whole series.
Mr. Forkle would be my first pick to save, but I think his death will be really important later on. So better not change that.
And if I saved Calla then there would be no paname blossoms to save the gnomes.
I guess saving Brielle wouldn't change much. But at the Summit, the Queen Hylda mentions she wants to hear Fintan speak because his group killed her warrior. And without her vote, then FIntan wouldn't be allowed. So ultimately that would change many things.
If it means save as in not save from death then I would pick Sophie.
To save her from all the trauma she's been through.
And so yeah. I would pick not to save anyone.
