There were nights where the storms never seems to end, the night dragged on and on almost as if time slowed down and the mind of a certain (hair coloured) girl raced at speeds mimicking a vampire. Her heartbeat was fast, mind was racing from one thing to another, she was tired. She wanted to sleep but sleep could not touch her.

Her thoughts engulfed her, the terrorizing thoughts, "you shouldn't have been born. You're only a burden to Guren. You're useless. You only hurt others around you. You're no one special. Do the world a favour and feed yourself to a vampire-" her thoughts were so real, she twisted and turned, awakening the male beside her,"STOP STOP STOP IT" she cried out, the tears escaped freely from her eyes, "i know that already.... Even i want to be killed by a vampire.... " the girl cried, whispering to her thoughts.

Until warm arms embraced her, she knew of his scent anywhere. He stayed silent, he knew of the girl's thoughts, her fears were not of the physical world, but that of her mind. He kanew it all too well, but he couldn't help her. He felt useless that he couldn't even save the one he loved.

"Gu.. Ren... " the girl's voice strained, he only held her closer if that was possible. "I'll be here with you till you fall asleep" his soft voice which he only used for her alone was enough to comfort her even just a small bit. He fought her fears away just by holding her, he comforted her just by listening to her. He was all she needed and wanted, he was too good for her.

He felt weak that all he could do was hold her close. He could not defeat her demons, he could not fight her fears, all he could do was wipe her tears and hold her close till she falls asleep.

The couple stayed in each other's embrace, a broken hearted prince, and a demon haunted princess in this never ending war against vampires in this unstable world.

The fears of reality pales in comparison to our demons within.
