Chapter 2

I jerked awake to the smell of pancakes and candles burning.
My eyes adjusted to the brightness from the open window.
Stomping and scurrying of feet rustled outside the door Then all of a sudden the door creaked open and Suvat slipped in closing the door quietly "Hello Suvat" "EeeEkk" Suvat screeched I jumped in surprise in a matter of seconds guards piled in. "Ooh sorry your highness we thought something happened" The guards bowed and left. Suvat scurried over to the closet and picked out a light blue gown that shined in the morning light,then I remembered "Oh my IT IS MY BIRTHDAY" I yelled excitedly and quickly through the gown on. Suvat nodded and did my hair and makeup
A royal birthday is a big event in the palace I waltzed out into the corridor every guard stopped what they where doing and admired
me stepping aside to let me pass, but there was something odd.. everyone of them had worried smile happy in the mouth, but scared in the eyes.
At first I was confused , but as I neared the ballroom I saw him. Towering high with black hair with frosted tips bright blue eyes. He was wearing a very expensive tux. It was him it was Coron.
He glided towards me with such grace.
He took me hand and kissed my knuckles
"Hello beautiful" he whispered
Without thinking with all the thunder the roared in me , my eyes glowed and I smacked him with all my might sending him across the room. My hair turned to flames as I screamed "HOW DARE YOU TOUCH ME" I turned around and stomped out.
I could feel my fathers stare of disapproval burning into my skull.
Some what later my brother swung open my door "CELESTA" he yelled "I know I know I couldn't stand it though" i whispered "THAT WAS SO FUCKING AWESOME!!" He said
"W-what? I just super slapped someone and you think thats cool?" I questioned "uhhh yay"
Suddenly we both jumped at the booming voice of my father " CELESTA COME HERE NOOW"
"Good luck?" Shane tried "I don't need luck I need a miracle" I sighed.
Walking towards the ballroom the guards gave me the same worried look.
Walking in I saw my father with his arms crossed and his face in a mean look
I saw Coron holding face and standing straight
"What a king can't take a slap?" I mocked
"Pathetic" I breathed
"Look I don't know what happen we used to be so close" he said with a sorrowful look
"Not close enough I guess because you left without a goodbye" I barked holding back tears
"Because I just can't say goodbye to you my princess" he said inching closer.
"Im going to die in one year Celesta you need to be ready to be queen, that means you need a king" my father sternly said
"I have arranged the marriage of you two-" cutting him off I yelled "I WILL NEVER MARRY THAT PIG"
Turning I ran to my room and packed a bag
" what are you doing" I heard Coron whisper in my ear "Getting away from you" I whispered coldly. "I can't let you do that" he kissed my ear and grabbed my waist " I elbowed him and opened the window " GUARDS" i turned and there where several of them one of which held a Tranquilizer. Once again my eyes glowed brighter then every, great winds picked up in the room sending the guards flying.
I turned back and a cloud sat there waiting,
Cautiously I stepped on, I bent down and whispered to the cloud take me to the human city.
People think im crazy, for talking to inanimate objects, but in my heart everything has a soul, unless of course it is stolen, people don't believe ,but I do. My mother once told me always to believe or. Nothing good will every come my way.
Slowly the cloud pushed of the ledge of my window and floated away.
Below me Guards began to follow. "Faster" I whispered.
With out warning the cloud zoomed faster much faster.
I saw it ,beautiful sky scrapers touched the sky.
People scrabbled around going in different directions.
Billboards advertised many different things.
Colorful cars zoomed by creating a beautiful blur.
The smell of food came into scent 'grgrm'
I realized I was starving,
The comfy ride came to a end as the cloud disappeared and I was in a free fall
I screamed at the top of my lungs
'Swish' 'woosh'
I didn't understand I was still very high up what happen.
When I opened my eyes I saw a Beautiful man, he had honey color hair and deep brown eyes that where almost memorizing he had a chiseled jaw.
"Hello" he smiled oh god his teeth are so pearly.
"H-hiello" I face palmed myself at what I said
"I mean hello! May I please be put down now?" I requested "OH yes of course" he placed me down on the gravel "Are we on a roof?" I asked looking over the edge "yes.. Why were you falling from the sky? I mean there was no plane or anything really?" He said suspiciously. Without thinking or looking back at him I said "oh you see my cloud disappeared How rude of him" "What?" Oh shit I just.. OH SHIT "Uh why were you flying?" "Crap. Welp what Kingdom are you from?" He said. I blushed " I uh-" then I heard men yelling from down below, it was my army.
