what he does to surprise you:

daniel: while your at school he comes to your school and surprises you in the middle of class.

corbyn: he just shows up at your door with flowers and little gifts.

jonah: he gives you a little scavenger hunt and you go around your hometown looking for him.

jack: when you come home from school (stressed as usual) he will just be sitting on your couch waiting to have a movie marathon/date.

zach: he'll just bring your favorite food from your favorite restaurant over at random times
