My journey down the rabbit hole only started recently. I found K-Dramas in December of 2016. While going through a rough patch at work and my subsequent decision to quit, they helped me get my mind off the situation. I watched many, many, many of them but still thirsted for what made my little fujoshi heart happy.
A google search netted me a true gem, Uncontrolled Love. Unknowingly I started with part 2 and thank goodness it was the Happy Ending. While watching it I felt like scenes didn't match up, that I was missing something (the flashbacks lacked context). I quickly turned to google again and found part 1. I was thoroughly smitten. Again, I turned to google and found many treasures that only deepened my love for this CP (I later found out that it meant couple). I have gained many friends within the fandom and a renewed thirst to craft my art. This isn't my first piece of Meng Rui so I will save some info to share with you about him for a later posting.
Finding Uncontrolled Love opened my world up to something I had been thirsting for, for a very long time. The BoysLove genre. Something I found lacking in the US.
The last couple of days have been an emotional coaster for me. I have needed a distraction. Drawing Shaoye did it perfectly. So here is my latest piece for you to enjoy.
