It was a hot and sunny day when Clement first arrived in Nice, France. The sun beat down, but a soft breeze blew through the beach side city. Although this place was wondrous for tourists Clement only had one thing on the brain, school. She walked calmly through the town but on the inside she was panicking. Today was the day that she would begin to attend Bourgeon de la Fleur a boarding school for up and coming artists. Her sweaty hands gripped her bags tightly so they wouldn't slip.

After a twenty minute walk to the school a dull crimson hid under her dark complexion. Her heart was about to beat out of her chest but she remained calm cool and collected. Everything she needed to know was on the slip of paper in her back pocket, a letter from the dean. Of course no one could tell her anything in person which very much annoyed the young girl.

The bell rang and many students ran around her. The school had a vast array of student with different artistic talents. The list included painters, singers, musicians, writers, illustrators, and many more. Of these Clement only fit into one, Clement August Fulton was an exceptional painter. Her work spoke to many, it was like the moon bright, mysterious, and never leaving their minds.

After the hectic encounter with only a few of the students that stayed for summer classes, she made it to her dorm. It took a long while of unpacking and fixing her unmanageable hair at least 10 times to finally be settled in. As she was straightening out a tilted painting on the wall the door burst open.

The door hit her and, she landed on the floor with a loud thud, annoyed, she looked at the girl that pushed her to the floor. She glared at her through her bangs. She could barely see was the hand that pulled her up, Clem fixed her hair and glared up at the girl in front of her. "Hi I'm you're new roommate Anita," the peppy young brunet introduced herself. She was your cookie cutter perfect suburban girl with her large poodle skirt and pumps. Clem out of curtesy introduced herself to her new roommate. "I'm Clement or Clem nice to meet you." She smiled and held out her hand for Anita to shake.

Though Clem was reserved with most her anger overtook her anxiety with her new roommate. After the brief introduction Clem turned on the radio and began to paint. The world disapeared in Clem's eyes as she focussed on the eyeball in front of her. Meanwhile Anita's eyes fixated on the peculiar girl in front of her.

Anita found something intriguing about Clem. As Clem got lost in her own world of painting Anita got lost while starring deep into Clem's soul, trying to figure her out.
