5 years later
(Deans POV)
I look in the mirror. Today. Today is the day I'm going to ask Castiel if he will marry me. Sam and Gabriel got together a year ago and they both helped me pick out a ring. Today. Today I ask the love of my life to marry me. Today.
"Hey dee!" Castiel runs into our apartment and gives me a big kiss.
"Hey angel" I disguise me voice very confidently.
"so cas? I was wondering do you wanna go to the diner for some pie tonight, I know you have got a lot of time off of work lately" I had told Ellen the plan and she said she'd set up, and make cherry pie, Cas' favorite.
"Yeah let me just go get ready" once he's out of the room I check on the ring, which only make me more nervous. I stuff the ring in my pocket and we make outlet way to the impala. About 20 minutes later we get there. Ellen shows us to the table where I we sat almost 5 years ago. And I get him his pie. He excuses him self to the bathroom and I take the ring out of my pocket and keep my hands under the table. He comes back and my heart is beating so loudly I'm afraid he might hear it. I stand up and he gives me a questioning look. I get down on my knee and he covers his hand with his mouth, finally realizing what's going on. His eyes start to water as well.
"Castiel Aaron Novak, my love, my partner in crime, my angel, would you do me the honor of sticking by my side for all of eternity, and let's me be you wings? Angel will you marry me?" At this point he's balling his eyes out and nodding. He jumps into my arms and I slide the ring on. Everyone around us is clapping. We stand up not wanting to let this moment go. He kisses me, and it is he kissing me hard. We finish the rest of out pie and go home newly engaged. Thanks for reading this cringe-fest if a fic. If you want more cringe, go check out my other ones! Thx
