You have been waiting to go to Magcon for years now, and your mom finally agreed to let you go. You were so excited, you went and bought a Carter shirt. (He is your favorite after all.) You get there and your mom drops you off at the door. You have VIP tickets, and you get to spend an hour with the boys and Mahogany before they go on stage. You walk back to the VIP room and see the boys and Mahogany sitting on a couch. They look up at me and smile. All of them except Carter who has been staring at you since you walked in. "H-hi," Carter says.
"Hey," you say blushing. "What's up?"
They all start laughing and punching Carter in the shoulder.
"Oooooh Cartah don't do dat.." Matt says, imitating Carter's mom and winking at Carter.
"Shut up man," Carter says slapping Matt in the face.
You stifle a laugh.
"Come sit by me," Mahogany says, patting the space in between her and Carter.
You sit.
Mahogany grabs her phone off the table. "Come on guys," she says. "Let's take a selfie." Everyone does their own pose, and you just sit there and smile.
"That's not how Magcon does it." Aaron says, gesturing to your smiling face.
"Sorry," you say, your face heating up. You look down and see a text from your mom.
Mother: Hey sweetie, how's it going?
Me: amazing, and it looks like carter has a blushing problem(;
You get another text too, but you ignore it because Carter is looking at your phone too. "So what?" he says. "Maybe I do have a blushing problem. Got a problem?"
You smile at him and shake your head.
He looks around. No one else is around the couch you two. Everyone else is vining. Even Hayes and Jacob. "You know, I never caught your name." he says, putting his arm around you.
"Y'n is my name," you say.
"Well, y'n." he says. "some people find my blushing problem attractive."
Matt looks over and you, and mouths no one. but you.
"Two minutes till show!" someone yells as they pop their head into the door.
"Hey," Carter says, rubbing his neck. "Why don't I... uhh... get your number...?"
