It's so ironic, how I look at you hoping you'll look back at me, but when our eyes meet I look away. Because I don't want you to see how much I need you.

Listen to Stomach It by Crywolf and Eden.

You see, everyone has a story. And every story has an ending. Whether it's happy or sad, endings are the worst part of everything. Including stories. And the beginning of my next chapter started in third hour Science.
Harrison slipped into the seat next to me. Not at all trying to hide the fact that his gaze was fixated on me. I break eye contact, taking notes and looking the opposite way of the boy next to me.
"Mr. Nicholes, are you too distracted by Ms. Hastings, because if you are we can have a one on one at the end of the day," the smirk gets wiped off his face and he turns away from me.
"No Mam, I just was asking if she could help me with Science after school. I don't understand some of these formulas," somehow the smirk reappears on his face and the 20 some pairs of eyes stare at me.
"Oh, I'm sure Ms. Hastings would mind. Wouldn't you Avis?"
"Ummm.... Sure," Mr. Fachterson turned away with a satisfactory smile and continued to write another formula on the board. If he thinks he's getting a study session after school with me, he thought wrong.

Lunch time. The question of where we sat stood with Sabrina. As always she beats me to lunch and has already picks out an empty table at the back of the cafeteria.  I plop down in front of her, slamming my tray on the table.  Her eyes raise to me, "Rough day?"
"You have no clue," I fill her in on the details of third hour Science, but her face gets slightly distracted by the boy none other than himself, Harrison.
"Already talking about me I see," he scoots into the seat next to, casually bumping his hand against my leg.
"What do you want?" I roll my eyes, obviously annoyed by his presence.
"Now that's no way to treat our guest Avis," Sabrina starts giving me a lecture and I realize his eyebrow pulled up with creases resting on his forehead. Curiosity.  I groan, stopping her mouth from carrying on.
"No, but like seriously what are you doing here?"  Maybe the curiosity was coming to me too.
"Well, I came here to arrange our time for a study date," he averts his eyes from Sabrina, leaving the crystal ocean eyes resting in mine.
"We're actually doing that?" I sit down my half eaten pizza slice and push the tray towards Sabrina.  She always eat my leftovers.
"Of course, I was thinking around 5ish, since I have practice after school, but if you have plans we can do it even later."
Sabrina laughs drawing our eyes over to her,"Her," she points a finger at me,"plans?  Haha. Hilarious. She hasn't done anything with any other human rather than me."
"Sabrina!" I reach over the table and swat her in the arm.
"So I'll take that as a yes.  Well I gotta go, coach wanted to discuss some things with me, but here take this," he passes me a little piece of notebook paper with numbers scribbled down on it. "You can text me your address." With that he leaves.  Leaving me and Sabrina confused and speechless.
I, Avis Hastings, had just gotten Harrison Nicholes phone number.

Hey guys! Hope you're enjoying the book. I try my best to not have grammar errors so sorry for the mistakes. Any suggestions?  You can leave covers in the comments and maybe I'll use them in a chapter. Have fun!! I'd love to see what you create.
