As we watched the MTT channel, I began to lose interest in it. I zoned out, thinking about if I'll be able to go to the surface again.
As long as my soul is Purple, I'll never give up.
I snapped out of my trance as I found fingers snapping in my face. "Kiddo, Paps' spaghetti is finished."
Hearing Paps' spaghetti made me leap up from the couch and into the kitchen. "SPAGHETTTIIIII!!!!!!!!!!" I yelled, jumping into a chair. I heard Sans and Papyrus laugh.
I swear they act like the brothers-I-never-had. They're fun, nice (not as nice as my parents though), and Papyrus cooks great spaghetti, and Sans tells funny jokes.
Speaking of jokes...
"Hey Papyrus, what's a skeleton's favorite insteument?" Oh dear Asgore. "I DONT KNOW, SANS, WHAT IS A SKELETON'S FAVORITE INSTRUMENT?" Hm. Normally I thought he would try to stop Sans. "A trom-Bo-"
"A XYLO-BONE!!" I started laughing as Papyrus interuppted Sans' joke. His eyes went black as he just sat there. That just made me laugh harder. I fell out of the chair laughing, holding my stomach. I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe. I just started trying to gasp for air as I kept laughing.
I felt myself lift up off the ground. I finally started to calm down, catching my breath. Sans sat me back down in the chair with that familiar aura surrounding me.
"I'm never telling that joke again." Sans said with pure regret in his voice. I just giggled. I then started eating the spaghetti after that.
>Timeskippy to after le spaghetti<
I sat down on the couch. I then had an idea. "Hey Sans."
"Yeah kiddo?"
"I'm sure you have a skeleton of puns in store."
"You bet I do."
I hummed in satisfaction. I threw myself onto Sans as I hugged him. "I HAVE A SKELETON OF HUGS!!!!!!!!!!!" I yelled. Then I heard whoopie cushions. I just started laughing. "I was saving those." Sans said. I just laughed more.
Still hugging Sans, I slowly closed my eyes. Then I fell into sleep.
I was almost there. Close to home. All I have to do is walk out.
As I walked toward the sunlight, I looked back. I saw Sans, Papyrus and Mom (Toriel Mom) waving to me. I was two steps away from the surface. I wanted to go back to the underground, but I wanted to see my parents again. Underground, or Surface? As I was going to make my decision...
I jumped up, falling off whatever I was on. I think I was in a bed. I heard footsteps. I saw Sans, his aura glowing. "What happened? I heard a crash." I rubbed my eyes. "I just fell off the bed."
"Oh." I could tell Sans was embarrassed because he thought something was wrong.
I muttered something to myself that Sans probably heard. "That dream... felt so real..." I got back into the bed. "I think I'm gonna rest for a little longer." I told Sans. He nodded then closed the door as he walked out.
I closed my eyes again, slumber taking over once again.
I tried to escape the monster's grip, his hand holding me up off the ground. His hand was around my wrist, squeezing it. It felt... slimyish. I had the courage to open my eye. I saw the monster that had one eye.
I tried to escape the grip again. I dropped my hand, then kicked the monster in his eye. He dropped me onto the ground.
I instantly stood up, running away. I tripped over a rock. "Stupid rock." I muttered. I kept running since I hadn't fell.
I felt another slimy hand grabbing my arm this time. "NO!" I yelled. Just then, I plummeted into darkness.
I shot up again. "HOLY-" I covered my mouth before I could make anymore noise. My heart was racing, I was breathing fast. I fell down onto the pillow again, staring at the ceiling.
I felt a boney arm around my shoulder. Sans was next to me, asleep. How did he-? I shrugged it off. Next thing I knew, I was being pulled into a hug. "Sans." I said. He stirred a little bit. "SANS." Nothing. I knocked on his skull. "Sleepy bones." He opened an eye. "Hm..." he hummed.
"Do you hug things in your sleep?" I said, gesturing to his arms. "Maybe." He said. He closed his eye and went back to sleep.
I stared at the ceiling. Maybe they are like brothers to me. I thought.
