"Olivia Rose Black! If you don't get up this very second I will not hesitate to dump a bucket of water over your head!"
"makk meh!" I mumbled back, although I'm sure from the 2 sets of giggles coming from outside my bedroom and the not so manly screams from my brothers next door that there is no way that my single mother of 4 heard me.
"I'm getting the bucket young lady!"
And with those words floating in the air around my ears, I pulled the covers back over my head and and let myself count some more sheep, that was until...
"AHHHH!" With that ear breaking sound I shot out of bed, soaked in ice cold water. "MOM!"
"Yes dear... oh my." She sighed shaking her head slightly. "Which one was it?"
"Who do you think?"
I stomped out of my room, and down the hall to the one room no one dared to enter. Unless they were me.
"JASON DYLAN BLACK! YOU ARE-----"
"Language!" My mom small voice rang up the stairs.
"Toast! French toast mister!" I screaming running into front of my 6'1, shaggy brown hair, piercings green eyes brother.
Watching his fearful smile slip away to replace a cocky smirk made my fist clenched. "Most people take off their clothes when they shower sis, just in case you didn't know." He chuckled out.
"I'm going to cream you Jase." I spoke through my teeth.
"Did you forget how to shower again Liv?"
That new voice bright a smile to my face, and all the thoughts of becoming a sister to 3 instead of 4 went out the window!
"Uncle K!" I spun around and launched myself into his arms! "Look what he did! It's not fair!" I whined in his ear hoping that the little kids act still worked on him.
"I- um, arg." I giggled, and started a pout. "Stop that Livy! You know that always gets me!"
Sticking my bottom lip out a tiny bit more I watched his eyes pop. Just like when we were little, I had won and Jase was going down!
"Jason, tell your sister your sorry and go clean her bed."
"But--" A ticked Jase tried.
Shaking his head my uncle looked down at me as I hugged him tighter. "Just go man..." With that he pointed to the door, and Jason followed his finger all the way to my room.
"Thanks Uncly Kay! I wue you!" I smirked and walked away quickly, or at least I tried.
" Oh no missus! You get back right! Me and you need to have a little chat!"
Oh no. That's the first thing I thought. Oh no oh no oh no.
"Whatever it is, I swear I didn't do it!" I yelled quickly, shaking my hands in front of my chest as if to say not to come any closer.
"Nice try girly! Do you honestly think I don't hear the things you do in the staff room?" He smirked.
"Oh! I know! I did amazing on that test don't you think?!" It was worth I try to lie my way out wasn't it?
"Yeah, no - you failed. The fourth one this month. Eliana," Ouch, full named. ", your grades are dropping fasting than me after work!"
"Well you're just so strong that they must be getting better am I right, or am I right?"
"Nice try kid. You've gotta-----"
With that I had cut him off saying "get going! Oh, just look at the time Uncle! Bye!"
Once the words had left my mouth fully I was locked inside the upstairs bathroom with my Uncle kicking the door mumbling about how I'm just like him.
----
My mom always said she was jealous of my 'love handles' and right now I wish she'd take them. Jumping around trying to pull these jeans on will be the most exercise I'll get in the next month - and I run track.
Finally getting them buttoned and my snapping my watch in place I grab my track bag and wallet heading for the down.
Heading down the stairs route kicks in and I walk around the table given a kiss to each of the twins heads and a smack to both brothers. Mama stops me as always and pulls me into a hug. "Try and enjoy school, just this once, please."
With a kiss from her, I grab my keys and I'm off.
