"Ouch!" I cried feeling the band that was holding my newly finished French braid in my hair. "Stupid hair." Mumbling I turned around and put my ear to the door. Listening to the quiet I unlocked the door and slightly pushed it open. Sticking my head around the door I looked up the hall only to hear.
"GET HER!"
"AHH!" With that, my face met the floor with a loud crack. "Arg, okay you caught me. Get off me Carly!" With the boom of my voice the youngest twin hopped off my back giggling to run behind Uncle K who now stood in front of me.
"We need to talk Eliana."
"Do you always have to use my full name?" I whined.
"Only when I feel like it."
"You suck."
"Actually I'm straight."
My mouth opened like a fish at that. I really didn't expect that from Mr. Maturity.
"I'll pray for you Uncle K." I put my hand on his shoulder.
"Likewise kiddo. Now come on." With that he grabbed my hand and pulled my down the stairs.
Walking down the steps voices floated into my hearing and I froze.
"This is dumb why am I even here!?" His voice echoed.
It was him. He, he's in my house. In my living room. Sitting down. Talking. Breathing in my house. Pure shock ran through me. It rushed through my veins took over my legs making me sway.
"Liv, no stalling come on." Uncle gave my arm a tug and I tripped forward out of my froze state.
"What's wrong?" Uncle K's voice rang in my ears as he looked at me from the bottom step.
"Well this should be great!" Sarcasm dropped from his lips as the voice sang through the air.
Pulling my fingers into a fist I pulled the biggest smile I could. "Course my perfect Uncle why wouldn't it be?" I hoped down the steps feeling anger push through me.
2 whole years! 2! And He's got the guts to show up at my house. After everything he put me through...
Turning the corner I ran right into my brother. "Oh man. I'm so sorry—"
"Chill Jase. It's fine." I smiled tightly. "You look lovely by the way!" He did too; I'd just never normally tell him that.
Jason wore a pair of blue jeans and a black v neck, his hair a shaggy mess. He looked good for a brother. No wonder my friends were in love with him.
"Oh, um thanks. Mom needs you."
"Okay!" I chirped. "Thanks Brud, love you!" With that I hugged him and walked away hearing Uncle K following me mumbling to himself.
See what he does to me? The last time I hug my brother was when I was 12...
"Oh honey, you're here!" My mom stood up, pulling me into a hug. Pulling back slightly I could see her eyes. Her eyes, they shone nothing but sadness and pain.
"Yeah, sorry I took so long..." I ran my eyes around the people in the room. My eyes only stopping on everyone but him. I could feel his eye burning into my body. Running over it, over and over again.
"Pig." I mumbled.
"What was that Eliana?"
"Oh nothing!" I smiled a sickening sweet smile.
There we're 3 strangers and one person who I prayed day in and night out would just become one sitting on the sofa in front of me.
A couple, looking around the late 30's both had glowing smiles and a fancy look. A deep purple dress ran down the curves of the beautiful young women, black dress pants and a dark blue button up attacked the body of the man next to her. The looked like a happily in love couple that everyone would want to be like. You could almost feel the love floating off them. Almost. If you weren't for the bubble the hate, cold, heartlessness sitting next to them me I'm sure you could.
Sitting in the love seat, alone was a boy. Cute, but too cute. He looked exactly like him... just different. He looked mad. So so so mad.
"Livy!"
"Whoa, wait, what?" I snapped out of my daze. Apparently the boys blue eyes thought it'll be cool to steal my mind away for a minute.
"Go sit by Gavin, Olivia."
I looked around, confusing pushing through me; now that, that wasn't his name. "Who?" I perked my lips.
"Oh, silly me!" Mom pushed out a fake giggle. "Gavin's this fine young man." She pointed to the boy with angry bright blue eyes.
He grunted in reply, his eyes looking upward once to go wide, realization smacking into his face. "W-w-wait! You're Olivia?!" He questioned
Now, I was annoyed. Mom just said my name 4 times and he was rude enough not to listen.
"Unless you know another one, than yes." I shot back and smirk coming to lips.
"Liv!" Mom called. "Sit and be nice."
Sighing I sat next to the boy who was fuming. Glares shot from his shining eyes to the other side of the room. Anyone and everyone could feel the tension.
"Now that everyone's here, why don't we start Molly?"
My eyes beamed at mom. They know each other?
"Sure Ren!" She smiled.
Mom's eye locked with mine and for a spilt second I saw the scary thing I ever had before. My mom looked broken.
"Well sweetie, you're moving out." She paused taking a breath and my mouth dropped. "To live with your future handsome," My what now? ".... Tomorrow."
