I woke up in my orphanage room. "Get up butt head!" I heard someone say then feeling a sharp pain on my cheek. I opened my eyes and saw Beverly smirking at me. "O-ow." I say putting my hand on my cheek. "Oh did that hurt maybe it won't hurt if you go and die!" She yelled slamming my door. I sat up and stretched. I got dressed in my nice clothes because today is your guessed it adoption day! ⬇️⬇️

I walked down the stairs and I saw Beverly and her two other friends Hayley and Kiley dressed in this crap. ⬇️⬇️

I saw Olivia who was 8 run up to me. "Hey Regan you look nice today!" She said. "Than--" I was then pushed into the wall. I looked over and saw a blur but heard very faintly. "If you call her nice or pretty you know what will happen she is not nice or pretty!" I heard Beverly's voice say. Soon everything went black.

2 hours later

I woke up in the interviewing room. I looked up and saw I was in the corner. I saw Beverly smiling. "How old are you?" A man asked her. "I'm 14 but in a few months I will be 15!" She smiled. "Well that's not what we're looking for thank you for your time." The man said. I got up and walked out. "Your so welcome sir!" I heard her say. She walked out and Kiley asked, "WELL?" She rolled her eyes. "I'm not what their looking for!" She Mimicked and use air quotation. "Regan!" I heard someone call. It was Mrs. Boomer. "Get in that room!" She boomed pushing me in almost giving me whiplash. I sat down. It was the same person that interviewed Beverly. "Hi what's your name?" A woman asked. "I'm Regan." "How old are you?" "I'm 9 going to turn 10 in 4 months." "What do you like to do?" "I like to ride my bike bake and play a little minecraft." I smiled. He smiled back. "What do you like to eat?" "Spaghetti or pizza." "Ok thanks for talking with us." The woman said smiling. I smiled and walked out. I ran to the bathroom and locked it before Beverly could get to me. I looked in he mirror and saw my face was sunburnt. Great just great! I walked to my iPad mini and played some minecraft this is what I'm building! ⬇️

I heard a hard knock on my door. I opened it slowly. I saw the man. "Hi!" He said. "Do you mind if I hang out with you?" He asked. I nodded and went back to building. He peeked over at my build. "Wow your amazing at building!" He said amazed. "I bet you can do better." I said sad. "No way I'm horrible at building y-your amazing!" "Y-you really think so?" "YEAH!" "T-thanks I kinda have lost all self confidence since Beverly tells me I'm a worthless little brat." I said looking down. "Well your not your full of worth." He smiled. "Thanks." I said. We talked and he watched me build. The girl came in and told the man the papers are signed. Oh they must have adopted Beverly anyway. "Regan would you like to come home with us?" "Y-yes I would love too!" I said jumping up. He helped me pack my bag. He put it in his car and Jemma his wife helped me curl my hair. I hugged her when she finished. "Thank you." I whispered in her ear. "Your so welcome now that you look pretty let's get you home!" She said picking me up. We left and she said we we're heading to barns and noble to get me some things. I love reading so this will be fun she said theres books there. We walked in and I held Jemma's. We walked to the kids books and she told me I could pick out 3. I picked out the descendants series. She smiled and we went to check out. "That was a great choice Regan!" Dan said. I smiled and we went to IKEA. I picked out all this stuff for my room. ⬇️⬇️

We got in the car when I started to feel sleepy. I was reading the first book in my series when I felt my eye lids drop.
