Tears streamed down the young girl's face as she curled up in the corner of the hovercraft, shaking.
"Daddy," she sobbed. "Papa."
She would never see them again because of her foolish actions.
They had warned her not to do anything reckless or rash. But she was never one for following instructions. Now she would suffer the consequences that followed her actions.
There was a soft thud as the hovercraft landed, rough hands dragged her up.
"Get up, stupid girl." One of the peacekeepers growled at her, poking her with his gun. But she wasn't going down without a fight, she struggled against her restraints, screaming as she was lifted in the air and thrown over someone's shoulder.
"Someone, please, shut her up!" Another peacekeeper groaned, rubbing her temples.
A chuckle came from behind the two. "Let her scream, in a few hours she won't be able to say anything."
