Lili sat in the shade in a local garden, watching as people walked with loved ones and little children running around lost in their own little world. she was so caught up in watching everyone else she didn't notice as someone sat next to her watching her intently. she felt a pair of eyes one her jerking her out of her train of thought as the person waved a gloved hand in front of her face to gain her attention. she jumped a little, spilling her drink on herself. she mumbled something to herself before looking over at who had sat next to her. "hello" she said, her voice ringing through his ears like church bells. "hi" he replied looking down at her tea stained dress. "sorry for startling you" he said, apologizing as he looked back up at her face, his violet eyes meeting with her green ones. "its ok I'm Lili by the way. and you are?" she asked quickly looking back down and avoiding his eyes. "oh I'm Ivan" he said quickly, realizing he had forgotten to introduce himself. "that's a nice name" she commented, an awkward silence settling between the two. "so what are you doing out here?" he asked, trying too break the silence between the two. "oh I like to come out here since its so peaceful, what about you?l" she asked, tucking a bit of hair behind her ear as a cool breeze blew past. " I just come out here to think although I don't normally come here till its dark" he answered, glancing up at the sky. "oh ok, why?" she looked at him, waiting for him to answer "I'm not sure" he mumbled, just barley glancing at her.

every day she found him there, waiting for her to show up he didn't know why he waited, maybe it was because he didn't feel as lonely as he normally did when he was around her. it could have been because she didn't judge him or fear him like other people did. either way he came back day after day to see her and talk. in a way it felt as if she had saved him as if a look into her eyes could take away his problems and keep him from doing something he might regret.
