Today is the day I tell the girls about the miscarriage.
I don't know the girls very well but that's why I made this day, so we can get to know each other more. Then I'll let them know.
I woke up and shower. I got out and do a very light look. Just a full face of foundation, some eyeshadow and Lilly lashes. (TBH I bought some and they're good but expensive affff, never again)
I curl my hair and text the girls, letting them know the plan. Where exactly where we're gonna meet up. I then put on some clothes. (Outfit above)
I get in my car and we go and meet at Panda Express. I see all of them waiting outside. I smile and walk to them.
"Omg you look beautiful." Emma says smiling at me and they all hug me.
"Girl. Thank you!" I say and we all hug each other.
We all have a seat and just talk.
We get to know about each other and everything.
They all look at me. They know something is up.
"What's up?" Kaylee asks me looking super concern.
"I've been laying back because this is so emotional for me to bring up. Jack is the only person I've told and since I want all of us to be super close. I thought I'd tell you all." I look at all of them. "Jack and I were trying for another baby. Brookley told us she was lonely and wanted a sibling. You would think, as young as we are, we wouldn't want two kids. We wanted to make Brookley extra happy."
They all keep looking at me. It's makes me super super nervous. Way more nervous then I already am.
"So we tried. We ended up getting a positive result from the test." They all smile and say congratulations. "So a couple weeks ago, I went in for a checkup. The doctor checked me and told me there was no baby." I look at them and they all look super worried.
Kristen, my best friend of a lifetime it seems like, looked so heartbroken. She was super sad. All the girls looked heartbroken for me. It broke my heart even more.
"I'm so sorry." Beatriz said looking at me.
"Well, basically there's nothing I could've done to stop it. Prevent it from happening. I feel so bad because I feel like I've let jack and Brookley down. There's nothing I could've done. I've been so inactive on social media for it." I say looking at all of them. "But anyways, let's make this a happy day!"
We all smile and laugh.
We bought out food and went and had a girls day.
You know i never thought I'd have a lot of best friends. Now I do, I couldn't be happier.
