The Size of His Pupils as a Measurement of Success

It is widely known that when a person sees something that meets their approval, their pupils grow larger. This occurrence has inspired a number of sayings, and the concept of love at first sight. If you were to meet someone with your pupils enlarged, he will subconsciously see it as approval of him, and will accept you. If you meet him with closed pupils he will subconsciously feel that something is not quite right with you, and he will be on guard, or maybe even downright hostile. This is why many date nights are lit with dim candlelight. In the near darkness the couple's eyes are dilated, which makes the mood more romantic as they stare into each other's eyes.

Basically, if you see his pupils enlarge when he looks at you, you're on the right track.

You can find out what exactly he likes in a woman by employing a trick that Anton Lavey explains in the original book. Basically, you put together a scrapbook with magazine clippings of different women (all fully clothed, or else he will react with enlarged pupils at every picture)
As he thumbs through the book, take note if his pupils enlarge or he spends more time on a certain page, as those are indications that he is interested in woman like the one on the page.

If you are wondering how you will keep a scrapbook like that around without casting doubts of your sexual intentions, do not fear. Anton Lavey suggested that you say it was for a makeup or hairstyling course. I suggest that you weave it in with your character. If you're a writer, say it's for character sketches. If you're a sculptor, tell him that you use it for models. That way you can measure his tastes while making yourself interesting, which from my experience, is important if you wish to bewitch someone.

It is also important for a Witch to be able to make her pupils appear larger so her victims will be more likely to succumb to her. To do that, look towards his eyes, as if you were gazing into them, but instead focus on a single eyelash or pore and study it intently.

However, if you want to come off as dominant, and you know your subject will respond well to that, you'll need to give him a look that will leave him "trembling in fearsome anticipation." To accomplish this, look directly at him as though you were gazing into his eyes, but don't actually look at him. Pretend he isn't there and allow your eyes to absorb all the light around him to utilize your peripheral vision. The key is to try to look right through the person.

A witch's face looks much more seductive when it is tilted the right way, but it depends on the type of man you're trying to bewitch.

If you are a dominant witch trying to bewitch a passive male, you will be most successful if you come off as bold. The best way to do this is to look him straight on, so both sides of your face can be seen, and tilt your chin up ever so slightly as if you are looking down on him. DO NOT try to pull off the whole scowling from under your eyebrows thing. It just looks weird, not dominant.

When trying to attract a dominant male, you need to play the non-aggressive, passive girl who can't help but be a little naughty. Let him think that he is taking advantage of you. Little does he know. Turn your head slightly to the side, and tilt it downwards a little so your eyes show plenty of white on one side. This has a connotation of wide eyed innocence, but the downward angle of your head adds a saucy quality to it.

As Lavey said, "If you can read a person's eyes, they are more naked before you than if you were to remove their clothes."
